How did South Africa manage to score 749 runs while losing only 15 wickets?

India has already lost 14 wickets for just 243 runs. I have never seen India being outplayed in all departments at home to this extent.

It is just par on this pitch. The thing with Ashwin lead attack was that they never let the opposition reach par score and our batsmen a chance to outbat them. India should have also got 400 in first innings, massive underperformance with bat.

Ashwin was part of NZ whitewash series, so I am not convinced.

Ashwin by then was finished. In fact he looked off colour even against Eng earlier that year, and only recovered after half the series got over.

Ashwin’s body started to betray him, he lost his zip plus those pitches never suited Ashwin.

 

There was no need for those pitches it helped NZ .

We played way too many bowlers, A/R here as well as last test! This has happened under three previous captains as well, but the shock and awe tactic of shite pitches is just ridiculous. The biggest issue is with an aging team we do not remove the deadbeats quickly enough, yeah I know some BRat/RGS fans will bring in SRT to defend their chumps but SRT was doing well even till end of 2011 although not hitting big hundreds.
