Nope these are ICC academy pitches,  most games happened on drop in tracks brought from Gabba Brisbane.

India vs Pak and this one is happening on that track.

But  Vaibhav got out because of error in execution rather than he faced suddenly a world class bowler. Even Srilankan main team is rubbish team.

In England yout test series he made 277 in 4 innings. Him and vedant Trivedi are rock solid in the middle order.

All said and done the current batch has much better batting unit than previous one. India's spin unit is the one that is weak in comparison.

Aaron has sublime timing like Sanju samson. He just touches. Ball just flies

Aaron is such a gorgeous timer. He doesn't need power. He will get more power as he gets older

this is a very strong u19 team.the hyped top 2 hv looked fragile but the ones that follow Vihaan, Trivedi n Kundu along with pace trio make them the red hot favourites for the world cup. George has joined the team from Australia n its well above recent u19teams.only the 2018 team will hold s candle.but on a single day they can get screwed by the toss or conditions.as of now, its their cup to lose.

 

suryavanshi n mhatre can take their time now..its how they problem solve at seniors that will determine their fate.longway togo.exposure is what they need for now.

suryavanshi n mhatre can take their time now..its how they problem solve at seniors that will determine their fate.longway togo.exposure is what they need for now.

Nothing wrong with Mhatre or vaibhav , they too have been scoring runs as well.

Even that 30-40 vs Pak by Mhatre was v.good that pitch was dodgy and he took on Pak's best bowler.

This vedant trivedia is a very good fielder. A good run out and a flying catch. He looks like 12 year old

Lets not be too harsh on Mhatre and Suryavanshi.. they are very agressive openers..they will hit some day and will fail too…what they do is usually not done by others..they are X factors and can kill the match on their day..

 

For future..they have time on their side to grow and mature their batting…

They are followed by some classy players to provide stability like George,Vihaan,Trivedi..Kundu..

and finish off with AR hitters..

as posters said earlier the weak link is spin this time..hopefully Deepesh will help us with agressive bowling in middle overs to cover that gap..

I also hope Kishan gets some wkts upfront..

Extra pace is gold at this level. Third pacer is a weak link too. Henil and Uddhav Mohan both didn't look impressive.
