I like the three SA quicks ,need not to mention they being tall ,quick will only get better with time

Basson,Majola and co.

True..just saw these 2 matches HLs..SA bolwers looked to have some heat..our bowling is very mild in comparison..not much hope from them..we are only winning wcup..if batters are firing well consistently..

Vaibhav- Good to see him developing the off-side game, Some good 6s on long off. He should look to be more controlled in 50-overs game.

It looks like he just want to go t20 mode.

He always had it. His first IPL six was over long off.  Infact he is better on offside than leg side. His biggest out of control shot is hook shot. He cannot hook every short ball. There are certain balls that are outside eye line. He can't go around hooking . Same way when it is too close to body that is also difficult to hook even forspecailists. He just has to be selective.

Mahatre -he does not have good Yodi record not even a fifty , though he is top run getter for Ind Ind YTests but odi his HS is 38.

Why is he the captain .. or why is he in the team ????

Mumbai school of cricket..though captaincy is questionable..but for place in the team.. the guy has talent..will need experience and need to show maturity and discipline

ya..In the Hl today..even commentator was saying he should have played that ball in the off side..on which he got out..

though..its matter of milliseconds..when you make that decision..esp at such a young age..hopefully..he will keep learning..I would like him to also..be careful about slower balls..as bowlers around the world would like to trap him taht way too..

Yes that the issue if player with similar record out side of 4/5 major centres would that player make it to U19 wc team ??

It is the bowling that looks woeful. These guys are very slow trundlers.  They have to complement each other to get to the deepend of the tournament.

issue is..we dont even have good spinners..very sad state of affairs..lets keep our expectations low..

Vaibhav out for 127 with 10 sixes and 9 fours. Today he played a measured innings instead of whacking everything even though he was dropped once.

After Rohit, Vaibhav is the only player who can consistently hit 6s of short pitch balls and bouncers.
