What is the point of playing Kamindu if you can't send him at #4 when Ireland are spamming SLA/leg break on a spinning pitch.

Rathnayake sacrificed for nothing.

Now SL in a spot of bother.

The associate nations are putting up a good fight. Netherlands almost took Pak out.. USA gave India a scare.. Nepal took it to the last over vs England.

Hope Ireland wins today.

This is the most competitive that Associate Nations have been.

Usually, smaller teams go thru waves of excellence and rebuilding because their thru put of new talent isn't consistent. So it will be interesting to see if we can expect associate nations to continue to remain competitive.

Haha. Ireland dropping 5-6 catches in last 2 overs. What a bunch of idiots and why does Ire get so many international matches. They play Zim,Eng and others regularly. Haven't learned 1 bit. All their  tractors are still playing and Stirling still there :facepalm:Ind played them too last year. Why the fukkk are they preferred because of Gori Chamadi :wall: Why not Nepal or USA or Oman FFS.  These irish don't even care.

It's an occasional backyard game in Ireland. Most Irish people don't even know that they have a team. I travel there quite a bit for work and most have very little knowledge of the game if any.

The fact that these part-time cricketers from countries like Ireland, the Netherlands, the USA, and Nepal can give major teams—full-time professional cricketers with major funding and exposure—a run for their money is AMAZING!

And Mendis comes in and destroys their bowlers. Should have just let him bat at #4

Waste of Spot this Ireland is. It's a shame that gutsy teams like Nepal don't get any international matches regularly. They defeated WI recently and won series 2-1. Play with these guys

Countries like Nepal and Afghanistan don't even hv a cricket stadium.  Yet they play much better cricket than Ireland, whose GDP per capita is 100 times higher.
