Ultimate_Game Posted February 18 Posted February 18 Sorry to say but when two equally matched sides play the final at this panauti Modi stadium, the advantage of batting 2nd under lights is too huge to overcome. It's gonna be a repeat of WC 2023 final with whoever wins the toss strolling to a WT20 win. Makes it a mockery of the tournament when the winner of a month long world tourney will be decided by a coin flip. Thanks BCCI for adding another chapter to your incompetency when we had better venues like Chennai (Chepauk) and Kolkatta (Eden Gardens) available. The only way out to even the odds somewhat are making the final a day match starting at 1.30 or 2pm but knowing incompetency and greed of BCCI, that's unlikely to happen. New guy 1

We would have won the 2023 wc final if it was a day match. India would have settled their eyes on 270. Aus on a slow crumbling pitch without dew under baking sun would have been all out for 200 odd..i dont care about where match is being organised. We need to make knockouts day matches so it's even for both sides. Currently chasing is a huge advantage at some of the venues which is not what you want to see in high stakes matches.

So was 2003 which india lost. 2011 india got dew to help them and 2024 dew screwed them
