@Chaos yout fav Kavya :hehe: will be booed if she shows up in IPLmatches . :hysterical:

Twitter crowd is not exactly reflection of crowd. Sure there will be few guys. But they will be rooting for Abhishek. The thing is MI fans are the most aggressive. They want SRH to finish at the bottom. These fake patriots ignored MI hired two pakistanis in UAE league.

The aura of a man in ramraj dhoti and swadeshi bullock cart is unparalelled. Even Audi does not come close. Hundreds of village dusky beauties will be swooning over Sher-e-ICF, namely @Chaos :adore:

Even Gavaskar weighing in on the topic and criticizing Sunrisers for picking Abrar. Very surprised Gavaskar was so blunt while stating that Sunrisers Leeds' signing of Pakistan spinner Abrar Ahmed "indirectly contributes to the deaths of Indian soldiers and civilians". Looks like Sunrisers will face a lot of backlash if someone like Gavaskar is bagging them and calling them out...

Why are journalists jealous of young players going for lot of money lol . There is serious jealousy. They just termed the auction vulgar because an unknown guy James cole went for 390000 pounds.  wow.. Ya.. i have been jealous of Unadkat and bunch of useless turds lol But these guys are journalists.

I'm happy for the players be it Unadkat or Bumrah. Domestic players have toiled as well and may not be as talented as some of the stars so if they get a decent payout its good for the game. This encourages more people, especially kids, to get into cricket and that eventually helps strengthen the domestic structure. That's the reason IPL has increased the talent pool. It's good for cricket in general that domestic and upcoming players are breaking bank. Augurs well for cricket in general.

Most old-timers want cricket to stay the way it used to be - an amateur sport without any money where players play sports for the "love" of the game. These were the same things we heard when IPL took off. I'm happy finally money is being poured into cricket globally as it can only be good for the sport. These type of journos and so called fans of "traditional cricket" can pound sand for all I care.

They are right now where we were in 2008. 18 years late

Saw so many gloom and doom articles and hot takes at the time. Some of it was pure jealousy when an unknown or a domestic player managed to earn a big check. Instead of being happy for the player they took a shot at the player, the league etc. We're seeing the same thing here.

And wait if the poor bloke fails and is not able to justify his auction amount - you will see new set of haters spring from the woodwork. It's like they want cricket to be stuck in dark ages where cricketers have a 2nd job and live on charity. IPL has been a game-changer for cricket globally and has done more for the sport than MCC, ECB and CA (formerly ACB) did for more than 100 years when they ran the sport.

This deshbhakti doesn't extend to when he turns up to commentate on the numerous India-Pak matches alongside pakistani commentators. It's always someone else who has to make the stand.

I get a feeling Jay Shah needed to send a message to Maran and used the medium of Gavasker.

Its a bit dumb as india vs pak generates much more income.
