Indian owners of T20 league teams not picking Pakistani players in the hundred

Not sure how this will be allowed legally (I'm sure the viewership will take a loss considering not many Indians tune in to watch the hundred) 

but anyway to Pakistani - Do stupid ****, get banned.

Don’t know if IPL owners can get away with it, given UK regulations.  Assuming there is proof.

 

I don’t have enough knowledge on the subject.  But can one use that recent  Yorkshire Pakistani origin player’s case as reference? I know it’s very different in some ways, but still…

It's probably only a couple of spinners who would be picked. Can't imagine any of the Pakistani batsmen are good enough to get into those teams. The overseas slots are precious as well. But at the end of the day, If the owners decide that they don't want Pakistani cricketers and give the reason that they aren't good enough, It's very difficult to disprove.

And in England conditions, The Pakistani spinners won't be as effective anyway.

Pak players will be restricted to low tier leagues like PSL, BPL, LPL, CPL.

 

But tbh they do have few players that could be picked in top leagues as well.

Naseem, Saim, Abrar, Tariq(for novely) are good enough for any league. Maybe Shaheen & Rauf as well on reputation quota.

Shaheen has regressed massively.

Naseem as in Naseem Shah? Nope. He seems to have regressed as well. 

Saim,Abrar and Tariq - I see some takers, But they won't be effective in English conditions as they are in the subcontinent. And again. The only three likely players likely to be picked for any team if on cricketing skills condition. It's not as if the talent in Pakistan is breaking down the walls and barging in for selection. There are only 3 players who can realistically expect to be part of the Hundred and those players are condition dependent spinners. The team owners can easily mount an excuse saying there are limited players in Pakistan and we expect to go in for other spinners like Noor Ahmad, Rashid Khan, Srilankan spinners etc etc etc.

Is this the 35 averaging Naseem shah you are talking about?

And there are only 32 possible slots for overseas players across the league out of which 16 seem to have already been filled(None of them being Pakistani players). The competition for 16 spots has a lot of players and then there's the availability issues as well (Pakistan might well be playing internationals when the Hundred is going on)

Just checked - Pakistan have tours of West Indies and later England when the hundred is going on.

The owners have not made any announcement. This is just some paid shrill writing. Probably taken money from the PCB to guilt some other franchise to bid for substandard Pakistani players.

BCCI should strategically allow 10-12 indian players(Who aren't touring with the Indian team at that time) to participate in the 100 or the BBL. Even the franchises owned by non Indians would pick the Indian players because of the viewership increase that the Indian players give. The more Indian players that are picked, There's one less slot for a Pakistani player to be picked. The added plus is that our 'B' squad of T20 specialists get used to playing in various conditions and improve further. The leagues are short enough in duration that the Indian first class scene wouldn't be compromised too much. 

Do it neatly and simply, Even in the odd case that the franchise picks an Indian player and Pakistani player. Let it be. the BCCI can always call the player up for an international assignment. Don't give explicit rules, make it understood clearly that if the leagues are expecting Indian players to come in the future, These are the rules to be followed. No need to even open mouth.

If those guys complain, do the same with the Lankan league, cut off one more lifeline for them. Our players do need to learn to play spin afterall.

Sensible British citizens should realise that IPL owners are doing them a favour albeit in a not so good way which is to restrict cringeworthy Pak players not getting into Britain. You only increase the probability of Islamic conversion ,  honour killing, misogyny and child grooming. 

 

By the way I am personally fine for Pak players to be enrolled for Indian owners affiliated teams as long as FA and British football clubs start inducting Russian football players in EPL and Israeli fans allowed to travel to matches of their clubs. This chutiyapa by woke Western crowd needs to be kicked out from their society first and foremost. Sends a signal to Indian wannabe wokes as well.
