@Lone Wolf The way RSA dismantled BD in the test series in 2024, another warning sign we all missed. Absolutely crushed them, I don't see Aus, Eng, NZ beating them in their backyard like that. Even this Indian team will be vulnerable should they play a test series in BD right now. 

 

RSA is without doubt the number one test side since 2023. The one series they lost was in NZ when they prioritized SA20 and sent a B team. Kane mama cashed in and scored 3 100s in 4 innings

May be an unpopular opinion, but Mushfiqur Rahim is a better test cricketer than Dhoni. 6600 runs, avg 39, 13 100s. I remember him once getting a 160 in NZ, he and Shakib added almost 400 runs, Shakib got a 200. Against ful strength NZ, Boult, Southee, Wagner, Santner.

Pakistan will still lose by 150-200 runs whatever target they get. A 400 target is more than enough

They are not even putting an effort it is not as flat as these Trundlers have made it look like.

Even outfield is very heavy.

 

Ball should spin for Mehidy and Taijul as it did in the first inns when there was not a lot of wear and tear at all

Like I keep saying how India getting richer means they are getting better in different fields.

 

Bangladesh has also been getting richer.

 

They match us in GDP pci/HDI metrics. Of course 1/10th the population so that will be against them but I expect them to be the Asia no 2 and a very good team in a decade. Maybe the only other Asian team apart from India who will be able to compete vs SENA in different formats.

Mushfiq is prolly Asia's no 2 WK batsman after Pant (if you exclude Sanga).

The pitch has been flat throughout the test match. It's only in the morning session the ball is nipping around on all days.

 

This is proper grovel by the Pakistanis. Don't think they can handle the score board pressure well.

Everyone knows about MSD's credentials as a test batsman...he was in the test team based on captaincy

Rsa and Australia are competing for best test team tittle. Aus may drop off as most their players are 30+ but rsa have quality young stars like jansan, burger and stubbs. Hope we get there with our team winning in sl and nz
