Reckon English side we faced was tad more stronger than the one these Kiwis are facing.

Especially the second test last week Poms were severely handicapped.

NZ too have been injury hit in this game.. so nothing can be taken away from them as well.

The fast bowling depth they have is seriously impressive.

Some really tough characters in that XI.

Poms can't wait for this series to get over.  They have made mockery of this test overall and disrespected their opponents in the process as well.

Kiwi batting peaked around 2021. And that is saying something considering that Mitchell is a world class batsman and Ravindra is one of the best batting talents going around. What they have arr a bunch of adequate steady eddys who average low 30s and can grind it out which Nzl have always had TBf. Nondescript fellows like Horne and Bell made imp runs in their series win in  England 1999.

Yeah Nicholls made a great comeback in Plunkett Shield and scored loads of run but he is more like a nuggetty cricketer just like Elgar was.

Rhys Mariu I suppose is next big batting hope of NZ and perhaps will make his way into their squads in their home season vs India & SL.

To win in Australia you need world class batsmen more than 3 of them to fire collectively.  That's where NZ might struggle

They're not a long test series team in general. pooks, SL, WI also aren't. In 2014 if our series also was a 2 test series like SL in England we would've had a series win.

3 match Test series is fine.  They definitely had the reserves to call upon which shows depth in NZ cricket off late.

Jacob Duffy hasn't even featured in this tour and he was box office for them last year.

4 tests in Australia next year are this side's biggest test.  But an aging Australia is always suspect.  Indians and Poms failed to capitalise on it and dare I say if Kiwis pull that off (unlikely) they would be the greatest touring test side in last few years.

Great series win for Kiwis after losing first test.

Yeah, one of the more enjoyable series recently.

NZ of the last 10-12 years has been an excellent side, they have maximized their resources. So much to learn from them.

Kane's legacy also takes a hit. NZ won in India and Eng without him, played 5, won 5.

Once again it is clear that Mama was a master of soft runs and minnow bashing.  Put him in Young's place and we would have beaten them in 2024.

I still feel NZ series loss at home to sheer turmoil caused by Gambhir. India losing at home is monumental debacle , India just does not lose at home.It got swept twice in a row under Gambhir. IMO he made everyone uncomfortable and choice of pitches in that series was  ordered by who?

NZ avoiding SA tour like India avoids SL tour these days

GG overruled the seniors who wanted normal pitches after Bengaluru loss.
