Tbh these kind of pitches suit Poms more than the Bazball pattas. They simply don't have the bowling for pattas.

They won one test in Aus on a spicy deck. And Perth was also winnable but for Head's 4th innings blinder.

Hope to see a couple more of such pitches this summer. Last year was too much bat dominated, where even Jaddu scored 500+.

120 km/hr trundlers from Ranji also will be lethal here.

What kind of green mamba is this pitch

1st day square turner just edges out this in pathetic pitch contest

Indian fast bowlers hardly made any dent against NZ on a pitch where India were all out for 45. Spinners had to take first wicket, same thing they did against NZ in ICC test finals too.

Against NZ Indian team loses its mind, they rarely seem to have any answers.

Poms desperately need a few wins, a lot of backlash since the last Ashes. Their fans, experts have grown tired of Stokes and Baz.

Expect more such reuslt oriented pitches so that those two can save their jobs.

If things work out well, expect such pitches in next year's Ashes as well.

Pitch eased out by then in that match. Guys like Akashdeep are good in such conditions.

I don't think so pitch was just 30 overs, did it ease out in England too.Fast bowlers were not good enough.

On such pitches if you are hit for a few runs or a partnership develops, very easy for quicks to panic, and try extra hard which can backfire.

We often lose our nerve on such pitches against NZ, very fidgety both our batsmen and bowler. I want us to try a different approach for once, to be uber confident against them and treat them with contempt. We give them way too much respect. The moment we stopped doing that in ICC white ball events, the tide turned.

Those Trundlers are extremely less skilled... Robinson is bowling all different sorta wobble seam.

Our Trundlers are gun barrel straight kind besides being shorter

Nah with this much in the pitch they'll find a way it's how they get wickets in Ranji too.

Robinson is the sort who bowls early 120s as spell gets longer and gets spanked if there is nothing in the pitch, Bumrah and shami were hitting him for 6s in 2021.
