WHy do these girls play this stupid shot again an d again.  THat manhdnana bowled is the way many players get out. They try to scoop and get bowled. Why do they keep playing this shot? Moment they see a 70 meter boundary infront they try to target 50 meter boundary and play this ridiculously stupid shot.

It's because most of the women batters don't have the power to clear the field once the field is spread and these reverse sweeps or scoops are a comparatively easier way for them to get a boundary.

Certainly. It is appropriate that we don't deserve to  be in semis. Washed up t20-misfits, terrible bowling line up to complement terrible fielding unit. We are a long way away from becoming a force in T20. They need  a solid big hitting core middle order. Current one doesn't work. Jemima, Harmanpreet, Bhatia are fit only for ODIs.

Plus pace bowling is non-existent with bowlers not able to either hit or field/catch at all.

We are behind in multiple areas. Old Harman,  Shafali, Mandhana, Richa . These are the only 6 hitters have.Others are not good at range hitting

Mandhana relies on timing and doesn't hit 6s after the PP overs are done as more often than not she gets caught. Harmanpreet is old and done and strikes at the rate of 110-120. Shafali can hit 4s but not a 6 hitter other than an odd exception. The only 6 hitter is Richa. Dismiss Richa and our 6 hitting is done.

Why the negativity? Let us wait till end of day at least.

We were in a similar situation before NZ match in last year's WC, then won 3 on a trot.

Sure our T20I team isn't that good, but let us support this bunch of girls to beat Aussies. David vs Goliath type encounter for sure but if there is one team that doesn't show fear in front of Aussie ladies, it is India.

Win or lose, today it is India vs Australia at Lord's. Thank you ECB for giving a marquee venue for this encounter, BCCI would never in a million years.

T20 is India's weakest format.  It was always an uphill task.

The day Indian women start bowling at 110-115kph consistently we would start beating these SENA countries consistently.
