Is this guy Greg a moron, bats and grounds were same size for last 10 plus years. The same fast bowlers were not being belted like this ever before the arrival of this kid.

 

So instead of appreciating the genius of this kid, he is ranting on all nonsenical things.

I think the impact player rule needs to go in IPL.

Discount Chappell's recommendation about different half of pitches etc. 

 

But impact player rule needs to go and there needs to be something in the wickets for the bowlers. 

 

210-220 needs to be a score that takes a herculean effort to be scored and to be chased. 

 

I won't want to be watching a T20 match where teams routinely score over those.

All the new grounds being constructed should be large like the Aussie grounds. So sick of seeing continuous 4s and 6s on these tiny grounds.

Typical gora tactic - to praise a bit and immediately dilute the praise with a caveat. If it had been an Australian kid belting bowlers like Vaibhav, there wouldn't be any concerns about bats, boundaries and bowling conditions.

He hits easily over 80 and 85m 6s, so no idea what ground soze has to do woth it. In fact most sixes in ipl were over 80ms

Not the only issue. A lot of those sixes hit in the IPL would clear Aussie grounds as well. 

 

There needs to be some balance to bring the bowlers into the game.

Not just talking about Vaibhav. If the grounds are large, it gets very very difficult to hit slower balls and cutters for sixes. I want to see that. Not a single 200 score in our last T20 series in Australia. 4s and 6s should be a rare occurence for them to have any value otherwise we will quickly lose interest.

The outlook from Indian youngsters in t20 cricket has changed, they are playing high risk, high reward cricket. That is what t20 batting is all about. This kid is a genius among all Indian youngsters.

 

I thought impact player was killing allrounders too. But impact player has given batsmen this freedom to express themselves and these guys are pushing the boundaries.It has taken out Pseudo allrounders out of the game. They will keep pushing the boundaries in international t20s too.We saw how Indian batting overwhelmed other teams.

 

When guy like Head scores runs, it is fearless batting but Indian kids comes and score runs, it is an insult to the system .

 

This nonsense from these whinging morons from west is not new when something great happens in India .

 

This year was the first time in IPL Indian batsmen had higher SR than overseas batsman.Indian batsmen are leading batsmen in t20s without any shadow of doubt. They need to keep pushing the boundaries.

 

Bowlers will adapt , decent allrounders will always be  in demand.

 

Indian youngsters don't have to aplogize to anyone for being dynamic and fearless.Let them continue to push boundaries.

True. But there are a lot of those hitters now who can power the ball over the ropes as well.
