What the use when we will play 2 spinner Along with a fraud pace allrounder in NZ just because they can bat .

They will play

Jadeja

Washi/ Axar

Reddy

Instead out and out pace attack.

In NZ tests, I expect  ( not necessarily my choice )

1. Jaiswal

2. Rahul

3. Sudarshan

4. Gill

5. Pant

6. Jurel

7. Jadeja / Washington

8. Reddy

9. Gurnoor

10. Siraj

11. Bumrah

Not getting streamed anywhere bro.. cricinfo ball by ball commentary is from the the ground I think or SLC official site

A bit disappointed bro, that we can watch this match.

Would have loved to watch how our 3 pacers are actually bowling on a flat deck.

Except ECB, CA and maybe SA board no one streams these 4 day games.

Even the tri series was last minute decision coz of Vaibhav's popularity

No we don't Washy was critical in Oval with the bat.  His late onslaught was the clincher in the end.

And bowled so well at Lord's as well.

Reddy bowled well at Lord's knows how to swing the ball.  Overall a handy guy almost CdG level utility player in those conditions

That was patta pitch.  NZ pitches are going to be greenish. No use of Fraud allrounders like reddy , washi.

Who would be your 7 to 11 in NZ ?

4 Pacers and 7 batters including a WK . No need for Fraud allrounders.  4 Pacers are enough on greenish pitch.  Test will not go more than 3 or Max 4 days.

On a green pitch one pacer always gets under bowled anyways.

Three pronged pace attack is decent.

With an All rounder who can bowl upto 135kph seam ups.

Lower order runs matter a lot in NZ when kookaburra gets old. T20 skills are needed

Mediocre performance by Indian bowlers. We don't have many future prospects in pace department except Gurnoor

Gurnoor, Ashok, Eden Apple are definitely a long time test prospects.

Tyagi's future will be decided by this FC season.

And why are we forgetting Harshit, he is only 24 y.o.

When you have only 4 Pacers ,no one will under bowled.  We have a pure batsman at 7 so we will not miss any Fraud allrounders.   This is only increase the batting depth not reduced.

I'll play vaibhav sooryavanshi for this tour.  He can be game changer on a low scoring game .

They will only play Washi coz of presence of top many left handers in NZ line up.

Reddy will play ahead of Jadeja.

They will go with three proper Pacers in Wellington.

Washingtons name will be the first name in that list after GIll and Bumrah. India will not go with super long tail. Any good fast bowlers do will be spectacularly undone by our lower order batting.  NZ has bowlers that can run through our batting with new ball in a jiffy.

Eden apple and onkar tarmale must be fast tracked into A team ahead of likes of bharibojh

Exactly top order is highly vulnerable against NZ in NZ with their attack.

Need folks who can play counterattacking knocks down the order along with Pant.

Reddy is a safe bet but role clarity is crucial along with Washy

India will always play a token spin all rounder for sake of balance so 4 Pacers ka chance hi nahi hai.

And none of the Pacers can even hold the bat properly.

150/6 can be 155 all out in no time.

What's the point of the extra 15-20 runs when we are unable to bowl New Zealand out due to poor fourth-bowling options?

What's the point if we don't even have a chance to post 250+ on a greenish track if we are gonna get castled cheaply on 150-160?

NZ lower order all rounders will Jamieson Nathan Smith Henry will all make us pay with a soft Kookaburra and will always end up with a critical first inns lead or get close to us even if we bat well.

That's exactly what happened to us in Christchurch 2020

Most pitifcul collapse is not even headingly collapses of 41/7 & 59/6.    Worst is capetown test. from 154/4  to 154 all out.. Lost 6 wickets in  11 balls fo 0 runs.  Sundar countless times has done it in SENA

This one is under-rated. India struggling to avoid follow on at 221/7. For 8th wicket partnership Sundar and Reddy added 127 runs in the boxing day test. Even in the second dig he stuck around. But nobody was there to give him company.

They should stop playing Jurel as a batter. He is a back up keeper when Pant is not available.

That spot should go to Padikkal or Sarfaraz.

Sarfraz is not getting a chance in A-teams even. So there must be some issue which we don't know fully.

Personally, I prefer Jurel to Padikkal in test matches. His technique is compact.
