They would drag family of each other fans in to the discussion invariably. I think in cricket we are used to comparing people. We have the same energy in these fights.

zen Posted July 20 Posted July 20 Apart from Brazil, which is known for its free flowing football style and scoring 1 more than the other team, no South American team is attractive enough to be supported fanatically. Most of them play some sort of rough football. Teams like Argentina are driven by 1-2 superstar players with a global following.

After the bs first enzo yellow and then the theatrical tumble for the next yellow...that referee should have been equally harsh with the Spanish actors....given how Argentina benefitted from questionable decisions...can't complain though and he made a legitimate goal a foul..so all good I guess

Argentina was outclassed due to managers lack of risk taking He trusted a core group of players and didn't give chances it youngsters. The players carried injuries coming into the world cup or didn't play in top European clubs anymore. Some like rdp or otamendi should not be playing. Due to lack of roster rotation..the players were fatigued and injury prone in the final...we saw two of their cb injured . This resulted in them not able to win or keep the ball. And then what will the team or Messi do...they were reduced to sending long balls but there was no one to take advantage.
