Would the Indian T20 team fare better if Samson is captain?

4. Ishan Kishan 

5. Shreyas Iyer

yes it looks better..iyer I am still doubtful for Aus conditions..he will be targeted with short stuff and boundaries will be long too..

Agree with the top 3 but can’t rely on Iyer and lower order to finish games, need clutch man and supreme finisher like Tilak. Proven clutch player.

Given that Iyer has been announced captain, the same top 5 can play with Iyer as captain for the next 1-2 series. Then take a call. Idiots dropped Samson from the Zim tour unnecessarily

With the above set up, if Pandya is playing, then only one of Dube, Tilak and Riku can play.

6 bowlers (plus Abhishek).

Rinku & Tilak can swap each other...Dube/Shedge can be the backup for Reddy & Pandya.

 

Bumrah can come in as and when needed.

Dube phir bhi theek hai. Clutch mentality but Shedge is not at all international material (yet). Need better options.
