Why does General Category never protest in India - despite being robbed of merit more than anyone else ?

Yar, according to chatgpt Hindu GC is 20% of total india (about 25% of Hindu population).

16% is strict upper caste(such as Brahmins, Rajputs, Kayasthas, Bhumihars, and Vaishyas).

This means 80-85% group is going to be against removing reservations. Data is as clear as anything.

Touching caste reservation = absolute rout in elections.

Sanatan loving Hindu GCs should just see the math and realize ki kuch achieve to nahi hoga ulta desh ke dushmano ka fayda kara baithoge.

ChatGPT is probably still learning, UCs how about 30% of Hindus, rest asC/ST:OBC. More and more of the 30% are joining the OBC category. Earlier, UC never used to speak publicly about reservations, nowadays they’re openly talking about it in public discourse as it is affecting the country/themselves are being impacted. There is no development if we continue this trend of growing reservations in the OBC category. Impacts merit in the country and, you cannot speak of being a developed country having 90% feeling backward.

The political parties cannot come to power without appeasing or antagonizing any voting block. UCs can vote as a single block when it comes to getting targeted because of reservations. That is why BJP is not pushing too much into an appeasement of others and also do push  EWS.

National Survey Estimates

1. Pew Research Center (India Survey, 2021)

According to Pew's nationwide survey of nearly 30,000 Indian adults, the caste distribution among Hindus mirrors the national average:

General Category / Forward Castes: ~27% to 30%

Brahmins: ~4%

Other Upper / General Castes (Rajput, Kshatriya, Vaishya/Bania, Kayastha, Khatri, etc.): ~23%–26%

Other Backward Classes (OBC): ~35% to 43%

Scheduled Castes (SC / Dalits): ~22% to 25%

Scheduled Tribes (ST / Adivasis): ~9%

2. NSSO & National Family Health Survey (NFHS) Data

Data from the National Sample Survey Office (NSSO) and socioeconomic analyses project the overall General Category population (all religions) at 24% to 30.8%.

When filtered specifically for the Hindu population, the upper/general caste proportion is generally estimated at 25% to 28%.

^^ this is from hindu population.. If Hindu UC are 25% of Hindu population, it is equivalent to 20% of overall Indian population.

This caste reservation issue should not go beyond a point. Otherwise, enemies of Sanatan and enemies of India will totally exploit. Ajeet Bharti, dixit and all their listeners should realise.

Enemies of Sanathana i’ve already won, by creating a birth based caste division, with rigid hierarchy, placed in peoples’ mines, and in the narrative, by publishing atrocity porn literature that this rigid hierarchical system has been discriminating certain communities for 5000 years, creating false perception of demand for reverse discrimination for reparations. The only way forward is to talk more openly about it and reforming the reservation system so it reaches the poorest of the poor. UC Hindus cannot be held responsible for safeguarding Sanathana when BJP/RSS themselves are pushing the fissures and divisions, creating these fault lines for the enemies to take advantage of.

if this is left without any reform, india was definitely had for a civil war among caste groups, even before any civil war based on religion (Hindu/Muslim)

They won in Pakistan, in Bangladesh, in ousting Kashmiri Hindus from Kashmir. It can get worse. Best stay united, vote united, don't bring up caste reservation issue too much.

Govt jobs are 1-2% of total jobs and going down. Those too aren't as lucrative as earlier esp group b,c,d. Only a handful of group a, b may be lucrative ...In this bad climate change, global warming and humidity, you would better want freedom (self employed) or AC private company's office than a govt job.

What about reservations in government institutions like IIT, IISC, IIM, medical colleges, AIIMS etc. where meritorious candidates don’t get in but people with even negative marks can get in? It is not just Govt jobs, there are some states like Bihar, where there are no industries, GC is also dependent on government jobs.

Admissions do help, but it's the quality of the candidate ultimately. He can go to a different college an NIT in place of iit, can get an equally good career. Was reading that even in IITs upto 40% don't get placements...

The toppers of IIT and other prestigious Indian institutions don’t end up staying in india. Only 10% of the GC probably stay back. Most of the others prefer to join a phoren university than continue education in Indian private institutions.. The students going abroad, even for undergrad is exponentially going up. Most of them end up outside india. There is a negative effect of reservation on the brain drain, especially with the rising income of Middle class they can afford to go to foreign colleges, then study back in India. Sad story of india

Politicians across parties support reservations as it directly affects their vote bank

Don't think any protest can do much in this case

Caste reservations has less to do with our problems. We have worst civic sense, dirty cities, dirty air. Or if we didn't build a Google or a catl/byd, then without reservations also we won't have built.

No question about the real issues. Mediocrity comes from our colonial past, bureaucracy and socialism legacy that we have been following. But with the pie decreasing and everybody getting a piece of the same pie, issues like jobs and education, get compounded with such problems.

this was expected, BJP will never do it before the elections in 2027!, especially UP.

When a mob comes to the street, Martha Stewart, Parliament, and throws stones at the police, probably then it will n. But no party will support such a protest as it affect their vote bank

Everybody is talking to  JanG these days, even 77 year-old to young . Rahul Gandhi Mohan Bhagwat says people should give up creamy layer by themselves. What a joke. :hysterical:  most will not even return extra money they get from the bank by mistake.

These SC/ST elite want endless gravy train of  fee waivers, promotions, jobs, admissions etc.,. They want 4 Govt jobs in one family and each can earn 12.345 kg of gold each.

At the same time, more deserving people like aadivasi's, migrant tribes rot in poverty and ignorance.

This BJP govt is full of self-serving honour-less cowards that are simply interested in self survival. But again, most indians are honour-less cowards that look for a penny to steal from the fellow country men.

Hisab chukta policies won't stop... Supreme Court is only hope left for GC's..

BIM and MIM alliance is a reality and there is honestly no running from it.  Come 2027 census results picture would start to look even more bleak

Google is an extreme example.

Could one life have been saved if a meritorious doctor performed the surgery instead of someone getting very low marks?

If yes, is giving the seat to that candidate for representation worth sacrificing that life?

We might not have become Amrika but maybe we would retained a lot of talent if we valued it and be in progress

That protest even if hijacked opened their eyes as them being future voters. Bhagwat talks lot or impractical stuff
