vvvslaxman Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Has pakistan crossed 200 even once in this tour? Moment England takes 200 lead it will point to innings win.
Laaloo Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Come on England. Score 150 more runs and bat root out of the game.
Laaloo Posted September 10 Posted September 10 So the next test series for England is 3 tests in South africa in December. Nice

Nope, if they get out for less than 200 again, it will be a world record 6th consecutive innings below 200 vvvslaxman 1
vvvslaxman Posted September 10 Posted September 10 Speed of razaullah dropped by 5ks. 14 overs 90 runs conceded. bsriharsha 1

putrevus Posted September 10 Posted September 10 (edited) Couple of wickets yesterday and this new guy Razaullah has been brought back to earth. Bowling in test cricket is hard and there is no hiding if you are playing in SENA.You have to be fit enough to bowl 20 overs everyday. His pace is also down. He is young, let us see if he improves. Normal to bowl lower pace as test goes on to next day. He is new was and is trying to bowl his fastest. He is bowling full tilt and fuller in length. Does not have a stock ball or default pace right now. If he wants to develop as proper test bowler he will need a default speed and a stock ball, but can be used as 3/4th bowler right now.
Lone Wolf Posted Thursday at 12:49 PM Posted Thursday at 12:49 PM Razaullah as soon as he starts banging the length gets wayward. These slingy Pacers don't have that buffer in modern day cricket. High arm action is king

So don't think he has much idea about bowling longer periods or settling in. Skiddy slingy Pacers have rarely done well in England too. tapandrun 1

This is why you have to build unit which different type of bowlers serving different purpose against different type of batsmen. Laxman for instance was a great batsman against tall bowlers who could lift the ball on a length. But when the ball was skidding on at full length he was being lazy.
vvvslaxman Posted Thursday at 12:56 PM Posted Thursday at 12:56 PM This smith is such a poor player aginst outswinger. Even in oval test ball that decked away got him. Here time and again beaten by outswingers.

vvvslaxman Posted Thursday at 12:58 PM Posted Thursday at 12:58 PM Athers said the same i have been saying "This is not a quick pitch. Because he has a slingy action when he bangs it in ball just sits up". Short ball needs a bit more effort for bowlers like him.

Yep Shami was short & skiddy so was Umesh but these guys Always had average outings in England. This Razaullah cannot get good batters out on shorter balls as it would sit up nicely. Umran had similar problems.
