They have zero knowledge/interest in fast bowling. This is a trend I have seen specially in India. In serious countries like Australia..a spinner like Shane Warne will talk so passionately about fast bowling that someone like Srinath will get surprised. Coz in India hardly anyone talks about pacers. No offense to any fan, but I am sure if you ask KL Rahul or Rohit Sharma or Virat Kohli or MS Dhoni about fast bowling nuances...they will struggle to frame 2 sentences. Their entire advice will be "Theek se bowling kar". Credit to #Covert Indian. Edited September 3 by singhvivek141 Sgattick10 1
vvvslaxman Posted September 3 Posted September 3 These are the schedules that BCCI could have avoided. We only recent played against them. Then there was this stupid England T20/ODI series which could have been avoided as well. or just ODI series.

BCCI being the di*aheads they are forced them to host it in India in one venue in Delhi. Ideally Afg hosts all its home games in either Dubai or Sharjah. This is an exception they have made for India.

They will push the kid to opening spot in future and he will fail and they won't use his potential in middle order Only Dravid was visionary enough to notice that kid is tailor made to bat in middle order in Tests like Head. But he can be part of ODi set up already. We have a soon to be 41 Rohit playing in this world cup where this kids 2 generations younger than him. Manucrick and Need4Speed 2

He has already pulled off quiet a few stunners in various spots. May not be the swiftest runner to attack the ball like KOhli. But far safer catcher than Kohli or Rohit https://www.msn.com/en-in/sports/cricket/watch-vaibhav-sooryavanshi-s-smart-boundary-catch-sparks-suryakumar-yadav-comparisons/ar-AA1UqGzw Sgattick10 1

I think Dravid once said that they had very stiff hands to take take reactionary catches and ball didn't used to stick in them.

RMemeber him dropping markarm's catch in the deep in 2022 world cup of Ashwin's bowling.Shelled it. Rahane has the best catching technique. He lets the ball come to him rather than attacking with hard hands. Manucrick and Sgattick10 2

vvvslaxman Posted September 6 Posted September 6 Afghanistan is one of my favorite team. LIke their players. Attitude. Especially when they play Pkaistan. But when we play them i just don't find any interest.
tweaker Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 The fitness status of four Indian players, including pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah, remains under scrutiny ahead of the three-match T20I series against Afghanistan. Although the BCCI has announced the squad, Bumrah, Harshit Rana, Nitish Kumar Reddy and Washington Sundar will need fitness clearance before being confirmed for the series. According to a report, all four players have been medically assessed and are considered fit, but the BCCI's Centre of Excellence (CoE) wants them to undergo match-simulation tests before giving the final clearance.
tweaker Posted September 7 Author Posted September 7 If Bumrah does not meet the required standards during the simulation test, Prince Yadav is being considered as a backup option.
