A friend of mine with nosy and over protective parents had saved his girlfriend's number under a male name fearing his parents would never approve a girl from another caste. It backfired in a hilarious way when his mother spied on his cell and found some romantic text messages. None of the messages gave any hint of the person's gender, so the parents automatically assumed that the son was gay and all hell broke loose. It actually worked in his favor as the parents were only too happy to find out that the lover was not male. Caste didn't matter anymore. He is soon getting married.
