I happen to know certain people who maxed their credit cards and left country for good...... In excess of $50000 leeched U will be just fine ....

Even if you haven't, you can mail checks in advance to the credit card, so that it will be creditted to your a/c. I heard this joke about a sardar, who had bought two tickets for a journey when he was the only one travelling. A fellow passengers asks him, why two tickets? and the sardarji says that it is in case he loses one of them. When asked what would he do, if he lost both of them. He exclaims..."Monthly pass kis kaam ka hai, woh bhi hain na!".

LOL, old college freinds maxed their credit cards when they left US in excess of 5K ( which is the red tag area ) - never had issue, been 7 years and clean credit again -------- Rohan, you wanna fool around, cancel a credit card and use it in the airplanes duty free, there is no live credit checking when the bill comes say that u had cancelled it and not sure what they are talking abt Airlines dont give passenger info to Credit card #'s if they want to cross check
triam Posted July 25, 2008 Posted July 25, 2008 lots(5-6) of my old buddies, during the earlier job cuts and stuff went back to india leaving all their credit cards up in the air, with no plans of getting back to the us, im talking about 20 thou dollars are close by for most of them
