Recently, he's playing for Delhi against ROI and he picked up 3 Wickets at a good Economy rate and as well as the lone wicket in the 2nd innings. I am very much impressed with his First class record 35 wickets at 20.62 in 8 matches on Indian pitches. Is he another pathan(03-05) in the making? How's his speed? Or is it too early?

He is just 17 years old, almost 18. he bowls well and then get's inconsistent and bowls half volleys. He needs little more time. another 1 whole se ason of FC CRicket and a lot more before he is given Indian cap. he is impressive but needs to play more. he has plenty of time. since he is just about 18 yrz old

shouldn't be compared to pathan his batting abilities are much better he'll have to be groomed carefully as a batsman, i.e. his bowling shouldn't be compromised the more he gets to bats, he will mature, think of flintoff

Swings it nicely, but needs to work on keeping it tighter. His pace is reasonable. In extended spells in Ranjis I've seen him normally in a range of 125-129, breaking 130 at times. I'm sure in the shorter form he'd be a bit quicker (when not stretching himself over a 7-8 over spell of a few in a day). Needs to work on hitting the right length more regularly and I'm sure with time a bit more pace will come. BTW, anyone who thinks he's a better batting talent than either of the Pathan brothers has no clue what batting is about.

No doubt that he is a potent wicket taking option, but will he ever be able to reach consistency with his slingy and round arm action, made more difficult from being a left arm bowler.
