donkey Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Shouldn't mods lock such comparison threads. This one is a year old.
urbestfriend Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Technically both Lara and Sachin are better than Veeru and Bradman. Overall Veeru is not better than Lara IMO How do you know Lara is technically better than bradman?:finger:
vvvslaxman Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 DOn't know about whether he is better than Lara or Sachin. But he is one of the best career finisher.
shubham45 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 i dont think shewag will break lara record................as he s too aggressive to achieve it
The Dark Horse Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 In terms of fear created in the opponents, yes.
coffee_rules Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Sehwag's aggression is probably the best in the world , all-time. Even better than Viv Richards. I have to concede. 6 200s, 3 of them in the top 4 quickest. I don't think cricket has seen anybody like him till now.
nballa Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 no he is not. lara had to deal with no-shows on his team. sehwag has the cushion of the best bats in the world right now. tendulkar, dravid, gambhir, laxman take a pick.
Karan114 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 no he is not. lara had to deal with no-shows on his team. sehwag has the cushion of the best bats in the world right now. tendulkar, dravid, gambhir, laxman take a pick. Man, you have no clue. Sehwag has made hundreds when most of the other Indian batsmen have failed - Melbourne '03, Galle '08, Chennai '04, Adelaide '08, Bangalore '05 amongst them.
vvvslaxman Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 In terms of fear created in the opponents' date= yes. Fear the right word.. Ask any team you are going to bowl to a batsman for 6 hours which one you prefer 1) Sehwag 2) Lara 3) Tendulkar Sehwag will definitely be the last pick. That fear factor is incredible.
cowboysfan Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 no he is not. lara had to deal with no-shows on his team. sehwag has the cushion of the best bats in the world right now. tendulkar, dravid, gambhir, laxman take a pick. are you suggesting that he would have played differently had we not had other batting greats?:hysterical:
King Tendulkar Posted December 3, 2009 Author Posted December 3, 2009 He is more destructive then Viv Richards. In fact when on song he is the most fearsome, destructive batsmen the world has seen!
Watson87 Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Sehwag is better than Sachin... lara can be sehwag's waterboy... veeru is the new god.. i knew he was gonna score a tripple andpeople were calling me stuff during the match..
kooljatt Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 At Multan just over five years ago, he pretty much ended the career of one very special offspinner, Saqlain Mushtaq. Saqlain had gone into that series speaking of a surprise ball, the teesra [the third one]. After much discussion in the media box, it was decided that it was the delivery that Sehwag kept whacking over midwicket for fours and sixes.
vvvslaxman Posted December 3, 2009 Posted December 3, 2009 Did you guys see Sehwag asking Harper for a wide when Herath slipped one down the leg side. :cantstop: He even did that with England when they bowled outside the leg stump.
King Tendulkar Posted February 15, 2010 Author Posted February 15, 2010 87 ball ton. Brutal. Unbeliavable. Better then Lara

achilles Posted February 15, 2010 Posted February 15, 2010 Both are good in their own ways. But Viru is a bit more consistent than Brian Charles Lara.
