Cricketics
Look at that intensity of his. back which was missing in India. Seriously new conditions make so much difference. Look at the energy he is putting into his bowling again. Home crowd. Lee seems to be the same bowler all over again, a bit smiilar to how he looked last Aussie summer against INdia. Indian heat. Indian batz. India pitch... all these were just too good for Lee to experience Link to comment

Lord
Lets hope he destroys the saffers later on. It would be amazing. that wud destroy our hopes of becoming no.1 in near future.even if we win against eng,pak n kiwis,it wont get us many points as they r well down the table.if aus beat the saffies home n away.they 'll keep the ranking for a good amount of time. Fontaine
And the cricketing world can go back and call paper tigers like Lee and Steyn world class bowlers again now that they're not bowling in Indian conditions!!! The English bowlers are going through the same thing. Harmison looks one dimensional and useless. Jimmy Anderson hyped by the English as the world's best swing bowler now looks crap and inconsistent again, even Flintoff looks tame by his standards! Link to comment
cochise
Steyn, Morkel and Ntini on this Gabba pitch would look VERY lethal too. Can you imagine if SA were playing the current test match at the Gabba instead of NZ? Link to comment

Cricketics
o come on. it has everything to do with the conditions. look each and every bowler is dominating the pitch. it's a great pitch for fast bowlers and lee is enjoying the wealth of this pitch. Yes Having Sehwag, Gambhir and offcourse Tendulkar, Laxman and co would have made some difference, but no one can doubt that Lee would have easily bowled better against all these Indians better on this track then what he bowled in India to them Link to comment

Against indians he may have racked up 150-2 figures Link to comment

SachDan
Bret Lee was very impressive today. He bowled good line and length with nice rhythm and moved the ball at a brisk pace. Dunno whether it was the batsmen at the other end or the condition that gave him the lift :--D Link to comment
