In India-Pak you wont find many hindus-Muslims who eat beef-pork. Overseas you'll meet few. I have worked and have been friends with many muslims who drink ' date=' eat pork and dont worry about halaal .. at the same time I have met a lot of hindus who dont eat meat on tues and thursdays.. who dont touch beef ... So in the end .. whats the point of this discussion ?[/quote'] Point of discusison is that muslims follow the no pork rule more religiously than the people of other religion do with their dietary prohibitions

Huh? I did not touch any thread - as a rule I don't mess around with threads in which I am actively participating in a discussion.

Super powerful mods' date=' moving/deleting threads based on their own whims and fancies...where else have I seen it before..[/quote'] Yes, dadaji, please tell me which "other thread" was sent to the joke section, and why this should not be in chit chat? If you accuse someone, atleast provide the reasons why you do so. There were three threads in chit chat. 1. Do you eat beef. 2. I met a muslim colleague who eats pork 3. Do ICF muslims eat pork etc... ALL THESE WERE in chit chat, none of them were in jokes section. I have merged all of them into one thread.

Come to think of it, how does eating a meal ( beef or pork ) affect anything? they are being killed anyways and we know they are..we aint doin anyting abt it IMO, beef was eaten by hindus many moons ago and to avoid more killings they made into a god figure

it depends on how religious one is. I have seen muslims , jains , hindus , budhists , jews etc all say NO to pork .. so what does that mean ? I have seen muslims who drink alcohol everyday and I have seen hindus who dont even want to touch it .. so what does it mean ? IMO your point is that % of religious muslims is greater than any other religion ..

" Point of discusison is that muslims follow the no pork rule more religiously than the people of other religion do with their dietary prohibitions " Can you provide me with any evidence that Muslims follow the no pork rule more seriously than Jews do? And I'm not talking about 10 people voting yes on some online poll, I'm talking about actual evidence. Or are you just blowing air outta yr **** again?

^ is it wrong to be religious ? IMO its not unless they hurt someone ... I dont like the theory that there is only 1 god ... which many Christians and Muslims follow but at the same time I dont care what they eat or wear

I don't mind whether hindus eat beef or not; I cant stand it when people force their ethics on to me Is it really too much to ask to be left alone and make decisions based on your personal choices?

Okay, but don't invoke my name into your moderation grievances after I've made it clear I don't interfere with moderation of threads in which I am actively participating in. Hope your numbnut brain can at least digest that fact before accusing me of manipulating threads to prove some point or blah blah.
