Dhoni bats pretty often without a helmet. I've seen him bat with a cap in Australia, recent ODI series, etc. Sachin, actually I have never seen him bat in a cap. Dravid did it several times in 2001 during the 180 and in his epic 233 against Australia. Azhar did it too a lot of times. Actually I haven't seen Yuvraj bat in a cap [perhaps memory evades me but I don't remember him doing that]. And Sehwag, right? Sehwag, I have a vague memory of batting with a cap - though i might be mistaken.
