It was 11.45pm last night when some of us journalists walked into the bar where we bumped into the India team celebrating the series win. They were in full strength. On one side of the dimly lit bar, which shook with loud Hindi film remixes, a few cricketers were playing pool. Some drank, some didn't. Yuvraj and the young brigade led by Rohit Sharma, Ishant Sharma, Suresh Raina and Pragyan Ojha had already begun shaking a leg. Sehwag and Gambhir parked themselves at one table with Gary Kirsten; Sachin Tendulkar was having a long chat with Paddy Upton. Mahendra Singh Dhoni was everywhere. Suddenly, the Tamil song, Manmada Raasa blared out and a whistle rang through the room. It was L Balaji at work. Slowly, the dancers dragged everybody on the floor at various points - even Kirsten, who responded by vigorously shaking every limb, and Upton were not spared. Tendulkar never let himself completely loose but swayed around rhythmically. Sameer Dighe, the former India wicketkeeper, was there too and played pool with Tendulkar. Cries of cheating went up and now then from Dighe. Those gathered around the pool table laughed. Some journalists approached Dhoni for permission to photograph the team celebrating. "No, yaar. Let them celebrate peacefully. I just want them to enjoy the moment." Fair enough. - Sriram Veera ..... This is one thing I love about the team, they get along so well and are constantly having jokes In the 1st or 2nd ODI, Raina got hit with the ball and Yuvi jumped on top of him, looked weird, but they're having a laugh This aint another dhoni is great thread, but he has to be given credit for this

Please don't tell me that dude is the hero and beats up 300 pound guys. :nervous::nervous: :pray:
He beats up a lot of 300 pound guys in many movies. He has been acting for a few years, but I think 2 years ago he became "even more popular" after marrying Rajnikant's daughter. That was a "big occasion" naturally. His name is "Dhanush" - no relation to danra i suppose :D Here are the fights - poor Rajnikantz need to watch his son-in-law fighting now :haha: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yNBDMLuVjk]YouTube - DANUSH - BRUCE LEE FIGHT[/ame] [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WXb2yY7BW5U]YouTube - Real fight by dhanush[/ame]

Actually above was the #1 song of the year(2006/2007?) the movie came out. Mainly only coz of "catchy moojik" and it became popular among masses in tea stalls, bus stops etc. Will see if there is any "transltiun"...not much to translate though, just pelvic thrust.

I remember walking through a main road, adjoining a bus stand -T.Nagar in chennai, around Puja holidays in 2006.in every shop and auto stands, this song was blaring on Loud speakers. it was as if there was no other song suitable for the masses to celebrate/enjoy! worst part was when children were mimicing the movements in relaity shows in TV channels.but the song took the female singer to new heights, though she was singing for a dozen years on light music troupes.
