I believe Sreesanth should be called back for T20 matches at least.... he shows more aggressiveness in this time of limited over matches.... We have seen this in the last IPL matches.... he was one of the largest wicket taking bawler though a bit expensive... i think his misbehavior spoiled everything....

Injured Ishant in doubt for first ODI Ishant Sharma could miss the first ODI against New Zealand in Napier on March 3 because of a shoulder problem. Ishant injured his shoulder during the second Twenty20 international and was able to bowl only two out of his quota of four overs. "Ishant went for an MRI. The shoulder is still sore," Niranjan Shah, the India team manager, said. "We will monitor him over the next two days. But he could miss the first one-dayer. He has already had an injury on that shoulder." Ishant hurt his shoulder in the fifth over of the New Zealand innings when he dived to his right from mid-on to stop a blistering straight drive from Jesse Ryder. He bowled one more over after the fall before going off the field for treatment. He was seen sitting in the dugout with an ice pack on his shoulder. India suffered a last-ball defeat in the second Twenty20 international and lost the series 2-0 to New Zealand. http://content-uk.cricinfo.com/nzvind2009/content/current/story/392760.html

I hope this provides the required excuse to get Sreesanth in - he will be deadly in these conditions.
if they wanted sree he would have been selected first time only.now they can change only if ishant's injury is sserious n he misses the rest of the tour

 Whatever could go wrong always goes wrong at the worst possible time   Seaming conditions, a tall gifted bowler who could exploit such conditions to extract swing / pace / bounce is set to miss an important match
He's only missing a few odis, not the test matches.

Why is PK not given fair chances? I still do not get it. If he is so pathetic with the old ball, then give him 8-9 overs in the opening spell with a gap of one or two overs. For example, he and Zak/Irfan open the bowling, he bowls 6 overs on the trot, takes a break, and comes back in the 15th over when the 4th powerplay is taken again to bowl until the 20th over. That way, he is able to put maximum pressure on the batsmen and bowlers like Zak and Ishant can get wickets from the other end. Remember his recent performances? He puts Munaf in shame in terms of consistency/injury free and economy rates.

I saw the incident. He dived over the ball with a great deal of force. If he hurt his shoulder in that incident, his tour would be over. However, I think the point of impact was the outer half of his chest (the lateral fibres of the pectorals) and there's a slim chance he could still figure in the Tests. For all practical purposes, his ODI tour is over. It's touch and go for the Tests, and he'll be cutting it very fine. India should call the tour off and return home. Without Ishant, they don't stand a chance in any form of game.
