graphic23 Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Good point. Could you direct cochise to Lahore Logic College where you got certifications making you a qualified expert on Ind-Pak issues? How naive of you. His family and he have grown up in Kashmir, you know where everyone wants to go and join Pakistan but we, the Indians, are being the villains and not letting them do so. Anyone who has come from that environment knows a WHOLE lot about Ind-Pak issues. I suggest Cochise, that you go and live in Kashmir valleys for a while before your opinions are taken seriously.
Alam_dar Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Pakistan is a failed state (just like Afghanistan and Iraq). It is only the tip of ice-berg which we see, but these Fanatic Islamic Terrorists Talibans have several thousands time more potential for their terrorist activities). No doubt Pakistan will go only down and down every day while Taliban are very very strong. But mind it people, India will also become fail State if it is unable to control over it's Religious Hindu Fanatics. There is absolutely no difference between Islamic Extremists or Hindu Extremists or Christian Extremists..... they are all same ...... they all are enemies of Humanity.
cochise Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I think you have to keep a sense of proportionality here. Agreed, extremists from any religion present the same problems...but the scale of Hindu extremism in India and Islamic extremism in Pakistan is not comparable whatsoever. In India, it is the exception and not the rule. In Pak, it is becoming the rule and not the exception. The warning of the potential for trouble is fair...agreed. But India remains commited to it's secular ideals and these forces are marginalised. Thus, equivocation on India-Pak in this instance is not justified.
Gambit Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Arnab(TimesNow) said it best. Pakistan is not a victim of terrorism like it claims, it's a silent perpetrator.
cochise Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Arnab(TimesNow) said it best. Pakistan is not a victim of terrorism like it claims, it's a silent perpetrator. As everyone has known for years. The difference now is that they can no longer play the "plausible deniability" game...it is to evident. But that won't stop them from trying the same old routine though.
kumble_rocks Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It's a Jewish conspiracy ... stop blaming poor Pakis !
Macj Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 The teams bus driver who SAW THE ATTACKERS MADE THIS STATEMENT: "He said the attackers were all aged between 20 and 30 and many had beards. " http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/7920303.stm
cochise Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 http://www.nytimes.com/2009/03/04/world/asia/04pstan.html?_r=2&ref=world The police chief in Lahore, Haji Habibur Rehman, said the gunmen opened fire as the motorcade approached Liberty Circle, a major intersection in Lahore not far from Qaddafi Stadium, the best-known cricket facility in Pakistan. There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. Mr. Rehman said the gunmen were in their early 20s and were bearded. He described them as resembling Pathans, an ethnic group that dominates North West Frontier Province and tribal areas, an apparent suggestion that assailants were Taliban militants from the tribal areas.
King Tendulkar Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 It's a Jewish conspiracy ... stop blaming poor Pakis ! :hysterical: Or a george bush conspiracy or the indian govt did it. I also saw elvis presley today and the loch ness monster
Sachinism Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 The government was informed yesterday that there would be demonstrators, so they informed the team to take a different route, that information got out, so again it could possibly inside involvement
Macj Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 The government was informed yesterday that there would be demonstrators' date=' so they informed the team to take a different route, that information got out, so again it could possibly inside involvement[/quote'] Maybe but not certainly. There could have been others who were monitoring the SL bus and through radio informed the attackers the road they were taking. On another note its funny, the padosis claim that RAW is useless and fit for nothing as they couldnt detect or intercept the fisherman's trawler carrying the Mumbai attackers, now all of a sudden they are masters at arriving in Lahore, establishing a base camp, corrdinating and perpetuating this attack? Man these guys should make up their minds once and for all I ask the Padosi Mulk, is the RAW competent or not.

Macj Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 Sikhs perhaps? Santa and Banta Singh escape from Waziristan? He made no mention of them wearing turbans, oh wait maybe they were cut Surds who chose to keep only their beards, happened to enjoy moving around in a salwar too.
Dravid Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 even sportscenter usa is reporting this.. dhoni said "he was shocked" yea right, a blind, deaf man could have seen this coming.. hope s'weera is ok..
Captain of Bhangra Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 I have read on BBC news, that one of the ministers of that cess-pit had the nerve to blame India for these attacks, as some form of retaliation for Mumbai. Hmmm, something that retarded usually shouldn't be dignified with a response, but here are some reasons why it could never be an Indian orchestrated attack: 1. Indians are cowards like their neighbours. If we were to retaliate (which I still think we should), we wouldn't p**sy around like this. We'd round up our troops and tell you you'd better run, because we're on our way. 2. Only an inbred retard would use a rocket for a diversion, and then waste ammo on a bus, whereas one rocket could do the job in a second. We all know which nation likes it's inbreeding. 3. Chris Broad escaped alive.* Now, I have no sympathy for the Lankans, they travelled there at their own risk, and can now reap their rewards. I am unsure as to how our neighbours haven't been thrown out of cricket, for many reasons, both on, and off field, but now will watch happily after these retards have put the final nail in their cricket board's coffin. Even when they attacked our nation, they received a slap in the face from England, who returned to play us. Thank God our boys are safe in New Zealand... *Minor attempt to add humour and lighten the mood, other 2 reasons are serious.
coffee_rules Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 T%he 4th ump is in critical condition as well. It was reported all other umpires and officials jumped on him after they realized he was shot. That's really brave. I hope the umpire survives. I would never wish death to even cretins like Broad.
umpire Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 one theory is that they wanted to kidnap entire team and hold them for some sort of ransom. Else one rocket launcher would have been enough to kill entire team
Texy Posted March 3, 2009 Posted March 3, 2009 i can't believe some pakistani fans are wishing that .....it was Indian team in that bus instead of SL team and one or two of those grenades would have blasted .....how sick!!! DO THEY THINK PAK WOULD HAVE SURVIVED IF INDIAN TEAM VISTING PAK WOULD HAVE BEEN HURT OR INJURED OR KILLED??
