On IPL website, in RR squad, he was written as a guy who is touted be genuine fast. There was no wicketkeeper named atul sharma that was just a mistake by cricinfo.

Akhtar also had a stint under him. He is the writer of fast bowler's bible. He gave interviews to many sources about Atul Sharma including Padosi Passion and pitch vision. He gives his input in pitchvision as well about fast bowling. Before WC, he became the bowling coach of Bangladesh team for a short period of time only.

There was some other Pont, not the Wikipedia Pont.
MCcricket Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 This is some mystery , I believe some truth to it, Darren Berry, Ian Pont, few other people have verified his presence, as far as not playing a game for 4 years, not everyone can be a Ambrose, R Royals , Modi, I am not sure who fed these media hype about him, now he is nowhere, does anyone know where he is or what is his plan.He was sent to Australia at the **center for evaluation , did suffer an injury before the practise t20 game.There was an article in Mid-day a few months back of him being in Mumbai with his picture and all, around the IPL tournament
