Lurker Posted April 8, 2009 Posted April 8, 2009 Dude no-dowry banner is pasted through my marriage people around know this yet those who have money will throw money to make up for their good-for-nothign daughter even otherwise some of the girls are quite good but their parents behaviour particualrlry this money flaunting puts you off.. I probably would not be saying that mate. Have seen enough incidences in my life where parents struggle to marry their daughters for one reason or the other. Trust me it is great to be a guy sometimes. Although I do realize where you are essentially coming from. BTW we have a very good offer from Siwan.. everyone else vetoed just because Siwan is considered latth-maar place.. Looking for someone who talks as gently as we Mithilabasi :-) Siwan mein jyaada Maithili to nahin hai. I mean hai but not like Saharsa belt. Or am I mixing them up? I am not rich enough to land in a chartered plane.... sala barata to road se hi jayegi na yaar.. MCC wale loot liye to.. Waise will have to give this education wise most of the girls I liked personally came from south Bihar.. Siwan to UP se sata hai yaar..Shahabuddin wahan se jitata hai for good reason general public hai crime minded and they respect criminals alot....

I w. Matlab yeh Ram kahani abhi tak chaloo hai? I have been at the receiving end of this jab NDA clear kiya tha lekin Inter ka result ke naam pe BIEC ne ghanta diya tha. Udhar Varanasi AFSB waalon ka alag nakhra. beech mein mera cheer haran. yeh baat hai unees sau baanwe ke aas paas. 20 saal mein bhi kuch nahin hua matlab. :two_thumbs_up::two_thumbs_up:

I mean salaries time pe aata nahi hai. Often logon ke 10 saal pahle ke approved arriers nahin aate the. Another reason for corruption. Goes back to your OP. Another reason why people want to give money to someone in BPSC cadre etc..kam se kam udhar salary to pukka hai! xxx

I had 1 crore offers before I completed my PhD which were supposed to go up to 2 after I became a Dr. according to my grandmother. Oh there was this bonus about, "ladka his gaadi par haath rakh de". Luckily, I was already too deep in love to reconsider.

Khair, of ALL the people I know, the Reddys from AP are most notorious for dowry. From what I heard from friends, Reddys only marry Reddys and they want to keep the total Reddy wealth intact, so don't mind giving HUGE amount of dowry. 1 Crore is not too uncommon. IIT mein ek Reddy tha who said because of degree, he is worth 1.5-2 crore. Then he got a 8 Lac per year job placement offer in final year (in 2005), and he said he could easily get 2 Cr dowry now.
