India's World Twenty20 squad announced

Ojha has outperformed Bhajji by miles in this league that its not even funny. He's beaten well established batsmen' date=' and has contributed significantly in defending low totals for Deccan. Sad that you guys think he shouldn't be there.[/quote'] he certainly has performed very well indeed but, bhajji brings loads of experience

Experience doesn't count for much if you don't use it. They were defending 149 (which has been defended before), and he came on and bowled on the legs, around the legs, wides, but never a proper full fast flat ball into the blockhole (which he does btw when he has huge score to defend, :P )

IPL has become such a blessing for the selectors. They can now see the best of the domestic players in perform in pressure situations and against the best of international players. Its as good as watching their abilities in international level. The players alos get the opportunity to learn by playing alongside great players. IPL will play a huge role in development of Indian and world cricket on future.
Ajinkya Rahane was scoring quite brilliantly in the Ranjis. What is your judgment on Rahane purely based on what he's done for MI so far? True he's getting to learn with the greatest batsman of all time, but doesn't mean that this format or this league is good for seeing how players perform in pressure situations. Plus, in T20, there's only one type of pressure, and there's only one answer :P (and India's best T20 players said this by the way, not me).

And that is why for God's sake, I wanted them excluded as both of them are bowling terribly in T20. They are our best test bowlers doesn't mean they should qualify automatically for every format.
this might be true for ishant but Zak would be a handful in England-in any format.I would give preference to RP over Ishant in england.Zak,RP and PK would be my choice of pace bowlers.

Not a bad squad, though I'd like to have seen someone else in instead of Ishant. Maybe Munaf, I know everyone is knocking him, but he has a great line and length. Jadeja isn't the worst possible choice as we don't really have any other decent all-rounders edit: There is Abhishek Nayar, I guess he would have been the better choice as he can really turn it on

actually u r right abt resting zak nd ishant. but wats d point in dropping rohit.??nd uthappa played only ONE good inn yest.... dhawal??? ordinary kamran??? reported for his action
About Uthappa we needed a 2ND wocket keeper just in case. Rohit is a curious case he performs for Mumbai ,does well for DC but somehow fails while playing for india.anyway i dont see any place for him in the side. no.3 is best for him ,but taken by Raina. About Dhawal I still feel he would ideal with his swing in England n i Did not know about Kamran's action being reported
