World Twenty20 championship match schedule : Does India get an easy draw?

Recommended Posts

so if we goto the super 8 round.. then we r in Group E and r pooled with Eng,Aus & SAF... only 2 of them can goto semis... so how is this an easy group..
The carry over points from BD would help, it means we would need to win two out the three to go through.

There are no carry over points. There are two seperate groups in the Super 8s so why the hell would there be carry-over points?
there r carry over points.they were there last time too.without them India wouldn't have qualified for Semis

I dont consider it an easy draw. Infact its a tough draw for india. India could have managed with an opponent stronger than Bangladesh in the first round because 2 teams are going through anyway. Where bangladesh would really have come handy is in the second round. By having bangla in our group in the first round, it is ensured that they cant be in our group in the second round. This we shall have 4 legitimate competitors in the second round in our group while the other group shall have bangladesh and 3 strong teams. So it is a disadvantage for us.
