Speaking of loud-mouthed Aussies, how come McGrath hasn't yet come out with his usual 5-0 prediction? :dontknow:

Speaking of loud-mouthed Aussies' date=' how come McGrath hasn't yet come out with his usual 5-0 prediction? :dontknow:[/quote'] His 5-0 prediction did came true right. So I guess what he made his bluff a reality. Anyway I don't think England will be that easy in their home ground and I would love to see sad faces in the Aussie dressing room just like the last Ashes 2005. One player that will be missed is Simon Jones.:((

Bopara wouldn't even make the 30 man squad for team India. :cantstop:
Can he play short piched deliveries ?:nervous:

There are many in other teams also who do not play short pitch deliveries well on bouncy tracks. Anyone remembers how Phil Hughes was left hopping and clueless against short lifting deliveries in his debut test at Wanderers earlier this year? How about Duminy failing in every inning and perishing on the short deliveries in the home series vs Australia earlier this year? These guys are test players who can't play lifting deliveries! Wonder why everyone goes after Indian players when they are just playing LOI and have not even been considered for tests.

Here we go Warnie already up to it. I think he's going to have egg on his face. Bopara looks a fantastic player to me. Not sure whether you have noted but he copies a lot of Tendulkar shots. Not that he looks like Tendulkar but this lad since WC'2007 has improved heaps. I think Bopara can play and play well.
He can become a genuine no. 3. Just trying to play mind games because they know bopara will be crucial in the ashes.
+1 Tendulkar has said Bopara is a "very special talent". Let's see who turns out to be right, Sachin or Warne.
I think he is a gritty player' date=' but at the same time, not afraid to take the risks, and I believe he will do well. In a team full of so called "classical" players, he and Peiterson are the standouts.[/quote'] :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hysterical: :hatsoff:
