In Chennai I ate small button masala Idly's as stuff/munchings in a bar....even though those Idly's were fantastic on their own,not stuff/munchings material.

 

Breakfast at Sarvana Bhavan+Lunch at Andhra Mess+Finger chips and Veggie club sandwich after a few beers at Sakthiyan Bar and restaurant-Tnagar.

 

On weekends Peserattu+Upma for breakfast at Tnagar.

 

Staple diet the 4 months I was in Chennai....packed a lot of pounds

You should travel by bus or ride a cycle to digest these things.
