Was Agarkar more tailunted than Akram?

Really silly debate. However Agarkar was decent. Junaid Khan is unproven and I rate him least of the Pakistani pacers.
dude If you haven't watched Agarkar, you have lost out on watching one of the supreme talents to ever grace the sport of cricket. The sight of him running in fast toward the batsman trembling in fear, with the wind blowing against those elephant ears has to be one of the ultimate sights in all sport. And thus, Agarkar >>> Wasim. I know cricket fans get shocked by this statement but its truth and universality will dawn upon you when you contemplate deeply about this issue, preferably late at night and under the influence of chemical substances.

Agarkar's retirement, how cricinfo gushed:

Agarkar's decision caught everyone at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), including the selection panel, by surprise. Sudhir Naik, Mumbai's chairman of selectors, said that he and his panel were set to appoint Agarkar as the captain for the forthcoming domestic season. "It is a surprise to us. Today we had a selection committee meeting where practically we had decided to appoint him as the captain," Naik said.
Akram's retirement, what cricinfo wrote:
He was one of eight senior players dropped for April's Sharjah Cup, and was then omitted from the Pakistan squad for the current Bank Alfalah Cup triangular series. At 36, and with Pakistan publicly looking to build for the future, it was unlikely whether Wasim would have been able to force his way back into the side anyway.
Who's the lajand now, pancho? :hatsoff:

I think he might have something against Mumbai selectors. He was unceremoniously dropped to accommodate Zaheer in 2011.
Ajit Agarkar storms out of Mumbai Ranji squad Senior all-rounder of Mumbai Ranji Trophy team Ajit Agarkar returned home disappointed after being dropped from the final XI being played against Orissa in Cuttack. An angry Agarkar walked out of the team's ongoing Ranji tie citing unfair treatment after he was not included in the playing eleven. The 33-year-old seamer, who had recently returned to the Mumbai side from injury, was unhappy at the manner he was humiliated by the team management. Agarkar, who went wicket-less in his comeback game against Karnataka last week, was replaced by Avishkar Salvi on the eve of the tie that started on Tuesday. The disgruntled Mumbai pacer said that a senior player like him deserved better respect, especially after having played so many years of top level cricket. Feeling humiliated and insulted by the unwarranted axe, Agarkar minced no words in lashing out at the Mumbai team management spelling out that he was not playing for money and that a player who cared for Mumbai cricket deserved better. Zaheer supports Agarkar Team India's pace bowling spearhead and Mumbai's Zaheer Khan also came out and voiced his support for Agarkar. Zaheer hit out at Mumbai coach Sulakshan Kulkarni and selector Milind Rege for failing to act in a dignified manner in the whole episode and leading Mumbai cricket backwards.
