ok guys.. cricket is a team sport and sachin is playing it as a team member. so why do we adore him more than anyone else. why dont we just celebrate the team and not any individual?
cuz he is the best of all.. since its a team sport.. only one best cant bring a cup.. since u need 10 other douchebags to perform atleast a bit..

i wrote about 5 paragraph.. and you saw only the last one..huh? well..dint we all feel/hope that sachin would one day bring us the WC (1996 and 2003 WCs for instance)? I'm not saying only Sachin should. But weren't we happy when he got us CB series? ok.. if you want, i'll take that last paragraph off... the essence of my post is, it doesnt require x number of centuries or y number of years in intl cricket to spot an emerging talent. when we celebrated sachin tendulakar's arrival even before he scored a century, whats wrong if the Poyz feel the same when they see someone in their own backyard.. thats all i wanted to convey.. thanks.. alvida. PS: God is god :adore: no one can catch him.. :icflove:
WE LOVE INDIA AND OUR INDIAN CRICKET TEAM .. not just Sachin.. want any more ????

Ok .... Peace friends. As I started the thread, I didn't want to insult Tendulkar or any one. I just wanted to say that this young Lad is showing he could be Tendulkar II with his immense talent and cool thinking head. Let's forget about breaking Records & encourage the young Cricketing Talents through out the worlds.
just saw his batting and to be honest he looks like a very very good player. The way he handled Murali and Mendis during his first ODI century at such an young age is something to be applauded. He has a calm head and he can really whack the ball too and he seems to have a lot of time in his disposal. But still it is too early to even call him the next best thing in Pakistan cricket, because he has not faced quality fast bowling yet and i would really like to see how he measures up in the bouncy pitches against Johnson or Steyn or Ishant when the pitch has something to offer for the bowlers. But he sure is a talent to watch out for and hope your PCB doesnt mess him up and loses a talent like this. If shown the right path, this kid has the talent to be a very good batsman and he is one of the emerging stars from the sub-continent. Ill reserve my judgment till he plays in test cricket against quality attacks but i am hoping he would combat that challenge as well. Hope he serves your team for a long time.

A very promising talent. Looks to be the most accomplished young batsman to have played for Pakistan for a long long time. Has had a great start to his career and looks ready to go on for the next 12-14 years if nurtured properly.

New kids perform well and people start comparing them with greats. Don't really understand the logic behind it. Players have to perform consistently well for a good long time before we compare them with the likes of Lara, Mc Grath, Sachin, Wasim, etc. Umar Akmal has started off his career brilliantly but lets not get carried away. He sure is a promising prospect for Pakistan and I wish him very best of luck to play cracking knocks one after another and if he really does that then for sure he will break records. Looking forward to see him get his second career century on Saturday.

Yeah? Try comparing any upcoming player with 10 match experience with Bradman or Viv Richards. You would be laughed out of the park. Here at least people are giving a hearing

Khatmal? No way. His technique resembles his brother's a tad too much for him to be successful in Intl cricket.
For some reason they think he is "taulented". Anyone who slogs senselessly is talented.

Oh.. so you mean he also has the talunt of dropping 10 catches in every single match?

Lol...the look on his face after he got bowled by Bhajji's seam-up (yes seam-up!!) delivery tells you all you need to know about his talent. Forget 15-16 years...this guy wouldn't match Tendulkar if he played for 30 years.
