Pakistan bowling line up

You are not alone. But with batting it is not one many army anymore. We have the number 1 ODI batsman in our side. Problem is lack of accelerators. Even Tendulkar can accelerate only upto a point. If you look for frantic acceleration you need Sehwag/Yuvraj. Yusuf is a lottery. Raina on a good day can belt a few sixes. Dravid even if he gives 500% cannot accelerate at certain speeds. It is a seriously predictable line up. We have a bunch of pie chuckers to go with this. India must play Mishra and Bhajji since we have lost Yuvraj. Slow bowlers will be more effective.

The whole Pak.i batting lineup is a lottery, lead by the circus master Afridi. Without Yuvi and Viru, we need to play old style ODI, keeping wickets in hand till the last 20 overs or so. Good thing is our top 3 - SRT,Gambo and Dravid - are very good at that. Yeah - Bhajji and Mishra bowling in tandem will be our trump cards. Getting through with the pie chuckers opening without too much damage in the power play period - Bhajji, Mishra, Yousuf and now Raina should do a nice strangling job hopefully.

Asif has been taken by ICC for a dope test. I dont think Pak will play him right away after a long break in such an important game.

You know about Pakistan fans. If Asif sucks.. they will say " mohammaz zahid would have destroyed us". if he fail they will say "Saleem jaffer would have destroyed us". They will always miss the bowler that is not playing

Seems to be a problem, but a good one.. Playing India next, should asif play, and if so who does he replace? Aamer and Gul places are confirmed, Rana can bat a bit for a number 8, Afridi is vice captain, most likely for Ajmal but Centurion assisted spin bowlers. Vs India, Afridi isnt as effective so you'd be temped to keep Ajmal for control but Asif hasnt played cricket for almost a year but can you keep someone out with a test average of 23? :nervous:
