O for gods sake can everyone stop ridiculously trying to attrtibute Srees 5 wicket haul to Donald. The spin people are doing in this is actually ridiculous. Where was Donalds when sree bowled so brillinatly in SA for example. No one even knows who coached ZK when he had his county stint. People seem to be dazzled by the name Donald. Its the bowlers who bowls not the coach. All Donald did was bad mouth Sree in the media after his stint. People like him should stay well away from India set up.

Are you guys ***ing kidding me ? Sree did not do anything extra ordinary under Donald's coaching when he was playing for Warwickshire. He picked up wickets at an average of mid 30's.

This is why I've backed Sree all the way... ppl have to look beyond his on-the-pitch behavior and realise that this guy is a genuine matchwinning seamer for us.... and we have a grand total of TWO such seamers.

i have no problem with his baits...main thing is he must bowl well...he has the ability and if he bowls like this at most times, he has every right to be picked for every test India plays.... Both Steyn and Sreesanth had started his career in 2006 at the same age...both have good action, pace, good outswingers..both do not have very effective inswinger..both can bowl bouncer..but look at where is Steyn and where is Sreesanth...just because Sree lacked the temperament, the dedication needed to become good to great...hard work to become a non-rated to a no. 1 bowler....I hope sreesanth takes pride from this performance and do wonders for him and team India in future.

I agree and it's nice to see the team management still sticking with the likes of Sreesanth and Ishant Sharma. With some of the resident experts we have on this site, these two would have been discarded about 10 matches ago. :winky:

I am not saying we left him out or out...he is one of India's most talented bowler...i am just trying to say he needs make most out of his talent...he needs to work on his fitness continuously. its a process he needs to do day in and day out. You talked about Steyn no bowler will take wickets every time. Best of bowler will miss out some day. but see the same Styen has a very good record on Indian pitches in comparison to others..has one 7-fer

He can be very good at few occasions and very bad on most. He shouldnt be played for all games, only overseas tours and in good helpful wickets. Dont get him anywhere near the ODI or the T20 team. Its like self destruction.

Its time for people to put aside their personal dislikes of Srees wacky personality(although personally I love his luancy) and focus on his good bowling abilty. He must be picked!!
