zubinpepsi Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 wud be interesting to see how the bowlers shape up from now on.. good riddance.. prasad was an useless coach..
Params7 Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Nehra, Ishant both have been bowling near 90. Venky was really restricting them it seems.
Ram Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Some perspective; Yes, lets sack the the bowling coach who was in charge of what could arguably be called the golden period in Indian fast bowling. A period in which we, as a team, had our first test series in win in NZ in over 40 years, our first test series in England in over 20 years, our first test series in West Indies in 35 years, an extremely competitive test series in Australia during which we beat them at the WACA of all venues and a closely contested series wins in South Africa in which we recorded our first ever test win in South African soil. Obviously, its totally Prasad's fault if the players on the field start bowling short and wide and at the opposition batsmen. Obviously, its his fault too if guys like Zaheer Khan injure themselves.
King Tendulkar Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Ah but its fun blaming someone apart from the actaul player. So Ishant bowls a few good overs for the first time in ages and its all down to ex coach going:giggle:
Cricketics Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Let's not bring Prasad name in it. I would blame Ishant himself for listening to anyone who asked him to bowl so(if that ever happend). But ya good to see him bowling some speedy ones there
Laaloo Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Well at least the ICFers aren't blaming Prasad for Harbhajan's form.
King Tendulkar Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Well at least the ICFers aren't blaming Prasad for Harbhajan's form. :hysterical:good point. Maybe we should and then Bhaji can be excused like Ishant!
Malcolm Merlyn Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 prasad gone............india bowling well=prasad was the problem
Shane Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 prasad gone............india bowling well=prasad was the problem :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

donkey Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 Sacking slow pokes likes Venky has been beneficial. Goodluck to Indian pace battery.
ViruRulez Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 All the Indian fast bowlers got back their speeds today.. both Ishant and Nehra were hitting 140+ today ... hope they continue it
