bunny Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 RD's square-cut and the leave of a rising delivery, closely followed by Lara's backfoot cover drives and Sachin's straight drive/punch and flicks. What about you?
DomainK Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin straight drives, Sachin's cover drives, daylight, others.
EnterTheVoid Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Ricky Ponting's hook shots / pull shots
Desi Cartman Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin's straight Six ... with the perfect follow through or MSD's helicopter 6 for the lulzz
99.94 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Matthew Hyaden walk down the wicket and clobber it for four over the bowlers head. Langer cover drive. Martyn cut. Glenn McGrath slog sweep for six. Any shot by Gilchrist. Gillespie off the body or cover drive.
DomainK Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin's straight Six ... with the perfect follow through or MSD's helicopter 6 for the lulzz Yup. The helicopter shot is cool. Every time I see it, I wonder how he did that.
philcric Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sehwag - Cut over point Gambhir - Inside Out over covers Dravid - On Drive Sachin - Straight Drive on the up Saurav - Cover Drive Laxman - On Drive Yuvraj - Pull Dhoni - Running between the wickets :--D Harbi - Flick Zak - Off Drive Ishant - Front Foot Defence
coffee_rules Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Dravid's late-flicks going past mid-wkt was a delight today. He seemed to be telling - Don't bowl anything on my legs today.
Dravid Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 dravid's driving/cutting sachin's over the top shots ponting's hooks sangakarra's shots through off side... class.. yuvi's power shots
hari504504 Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Dravid: Pull shot .. Eyes on the ball...Still head..dropping wrist..Doesn't get more 'textbook' than that. Don't think he's ever gotten out to that shot
Dinx - the Jinx Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin's straight drives that just miss the stumps at the non-striker's end, some of his pulls where he'll transfer all the weight on to his back foot and pull it savagely.. he played quite a bit of those against Shane Warne in the 1998 Chennai test... which were the best memories for me from that test.. Yuvi's on the knees and hoik it for a six Dravid's defence.. Dada's running down the track and hitting spinners for six Sehwag's cuts that go over 3rd man for six

Not sure if anyone ever will possess that kind of timing.
Sachinism Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Tendulkars back-foot cover drives. That is as good as it gets
SachDan Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin's straight drives, cover drives and punches off the back foot through covers :adore:
Lord Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Sachin.backfoot straight drive Dravid-pull/square cut Laxman-cover drive Sehwag-cut over backward point Yuvraj-cover drive Dhoni-Straight six
nikred Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Laxman using his wrists to flick the ball pitched outside off towards the long on....ORGASMIC. :woot:
SachDan Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 Dravid- inside-out cover drives off spinners. You require immaculate footwork to drive it all along the carpet! Yuvi- Extra cover drives. Majestic when he does that with no chance for the sweeper cover fielder to cut it off. Also his straight sixes with a lovely follow-through. Sehwag- square cuts and also opening the face off the blade and gliding it between point and third man using the pace off the bowler.
champ Posted November 16, 2009 Posted November 16, 2009 even an ugly would be fine for me .. if its the winning run for india .. :--D
