I met A. P. J. Abdul Kalam when he was the president. I was a student then. He had come to deliver a short speech in a conference and my institute's director introduced me to him. Shook hands and got good wishes for my career. He is probably the most powerful person I ever met. Met Tendulkar during an ad shoot through my friends in the agency. In fact I have met quite a few cricketers in such shoots- one of the advantages of working in the ad industry. You also get invited to most media parties and you meet numerous actors and actresses if you are in Mumbai. And I met Mukesh Ambani once.

Were you studying in KIIT. He came there twice when I was studying there. First time I went and just remember him speaking - "Today I am going to tell you about Kalinga", then rest was too boring and after 25 min I was out. Did not bothered to even go during his 2nd visit.

Aamir Khan. 2008. IIM Bangalore where 3 Idiots was being shot. Conversed with him for about 2 hours in a group. He invited about 15 of us (randomly picked) from Bangalore who used to post and comment on his old blog. He was articulate, grounded and generally nice. There's a chance (a tiny one, but still) that he may remember me If I get to meet him again, as I asked him some interesting questions, and also poked fun at some of his movies like Mela :haha:. He singled me out and asked what I thought of 'Mangal Pandey', but that was one of the very few movies of AK's that I hadn't watched.

So the other day I'm out with a few friends.. sunday night but what the heck. Then suddenly one of my friends says he's not drinking tonight? I look at him like a ghost has taken him over... He's like.. I'm operating on a Khan tomorrow. Surely enough, the front page of the next days newspaper talks about this big filmstar getting an operation done that day. I tried to convince my friend to take a selfie with the star when he was unconscious.. but he didnt :((

I met the Chief Justice of India today morning. Mr. P. Sathasivam is a good friend of my dad, so I have met him before. But this is the first time I am talking to him, as the chief justice. Felt a bit nervous.

I shook hands with Dravid, got a picture of Gambhir and spoke with Ameer. Madhavan had some serious attitude issue.

All these guys were out talking to people and a girl from my group went ahead for an autograph but this guy just ignored her and left the room. Someone else on ICF had a similar experience with Madhavan as well.

I've also heard that. I saw the "making of 3 idiots" and they showed that when they reached IIMB, Aamir said that in order to get a feel of how students live and behave they should also live in the hostel - on this Madhavan raised many objections about how they will live in such small rooms without any facilities etc.

That's pretty rude. Anyways why would you want to care about that guy when there is Aamir Khan :haha:
