India were dealt a blow ahead of the second Twenty20 International against Sri Lanka on Saturday with paceman S Sreesanth and middle order batsman Rohit Sharma being ruled out of the match because of injuries. While Sreesanth, who missed the first match in Nagpur, has still not recovered from viral infection, Rohit sustained a shoulder injury in the last game in Nagpur and will not be fit enough to take the field tomorrow. The injuries have prompted the team management to call in all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja as a back up. "Sreesanth and Rohit will not play the match tomorrow. Sreesanth has not recovered from viral infection while Rohit has hurt his shoulder while diving in the last match in Nagpur," Indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni said at the pre-match press conference. Rohit took part in the practice session at the PCA stadium but Dhoni said the team did not want to take a chance since he was not "match fit". "He took part in the practice session but he is not match fit," Dhoni explained. Dhoni said the team management will take a final decision on the composition of the team tomorrow. "We will decide on the playing eleven tomorrow. We will have another look at the conditions," he said. i dont know whats a greater tragedy - the breaking up of andhra pradesh or a guy like jadeja finding a spot in the national team.

what is dhoni seeing in jadeja that none of us are struggling to discover .. also dhoni will pls rest for this game .. playing 1 warm up match is ok .. playing 2 is meaningless .. again where's the wall . .there it is :wall:

tbh,i think Jadeja will be better option than Ojha as the spinner,but he cant olay above no.8

Lord..you're right. Without Harbhajan the tail was very weak in the last game. So i guess its between Ashwin and Jadeja now for the #8 spot

Lord..you're right. Without Harbhajan the tail was very weak in the last game. So i guess its between Ashwin and Jadeja now for the #8 spot

i would prefer to play both n drop Yusuf

Jadeja can come in place of Ojha. He should strictly be used as a bowler not AR.

Jadeja is not going to win any matches bating lower down the order.His selection is a puzzler in T20s but he should bat higher in ODIs.
