Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Kotla ka Ghosla Shame, real bad and can't blame Sanga, pitch seemed farked form ball one. We can call it superb bounce and all but the bottom line it was very dangerous
sm332 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Come on folkz. YOu guys watch so many games. Haven't you seen so many uneven things happening on pitch then this. Mate - if it is just uneven in one place it is one thing. The fact is that this pitch was pretty bad and consequently am not sure what else could have been done. 2-3 spots it was jumping off pretty markedly and another cpl it was shooting through.
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 'tics, yaar - lets book kotla for a game or two :haha:
cowboysfan Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 delhi board needs to be sanctioned ,hopefully we dont stop playing there, kotla has been good for us.
Sachin_Rulez Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Good that match has been called off. BCCI should ban Delhi hosting any match for the next 3 years (unlikely to happen though as BCCI babus favor them). Serves well for those Delhi cricket association idiots. Delhi, being the capital city of our country, embarrassed all Indians once again .
Cricketics Posted December 27, 2009 Author Posted December 27, 2009 lol man Rajiv.. Chal book kara rah hoon mai
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 the ghosla for me is that annoying shaped building Chalo yaar, kuch 20/20 khelo
Cricketics Posted December 27, 2009 Author Posted December 27, 2009 Now i hope game is restarted with retoss and India ki batting aaye, Sehwag century marein, and then rain aa jaye so that lanka don't get to bat.
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 11.35 Sorry for the confusion. We heard from the ground scorer that it was called off. That has not been confirmed, however. The DDCA officials, the umpires, the curator and the match referee are inspecting the two pitches. The crowd is very restless. Some section are chanting irate slogans. Gambit is there :winky:
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 actually sanga was pissed off by the run out, the undeven bounced call the ball to hit the stumps
Nova Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 Someone in the crowd showing "I want my money back" banner. Refund on the order :orderorder:
ludhianvi Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 What made it worse has been the fall of 5 wickets really. I dont think any wicket fell due to uneven bounce if I am not mistaken.
satishg Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 hehe Gra and tics being exposed here. But seriously guys this is the worst pitch i have seen in some time. Poor Sanath after getting hit so many times the match has been called off, he will be mighty frustrated now!
Rajiv Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 would sanga have done the same if this game was played in australia?
sm332 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 would sanga have done the same if this game was played in australia? I dont know but I havent seen a dangerous pitch in Australia although some of the Perth pitches of olden times may have qualified.
Texy Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 just take the grass off this pitch and play with spin option only or a 20/20..wtf are they discussing for so long
Nova Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 just take the grass off this pitch and play with spin option only or a 20/20..wtf are they discussing for so long I say call it off and refund the money. Award the match to SL.... :cantstop:
jf1gp_1 Posted December 27, 2009 Posted December 27, 2009 why do such weird things happen in India, dangerous pith, then there was pitch which was wet in dry weather
