Anakin Posted February 1, 2010 Posted February 1, 2010 He's not only a messiah, also a warrior, may be a prophet Probably that gun was a gift from his terrorist cousins. One more reason to make the guy kaptaan.

patriot Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 LOL..Bhogle thinks Afretard is the best man to lead Pakistan. http://http://www.cricinfo.com/magazine/content/story/446934.html The rebel who could be king, and a rule whose time may be up believe Afridi might well be the right man to lead Pakistan in limited-overs cricket, for he is most likely to understand others like him. There is something about him that engages you, there is a little playfulness to him and he seems willing to take a gamble :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:
cricketman Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Well, Afridi is the best representation of the team....
Desi Cartman Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 for he is most likely to understand others like him. This sums up what he means
patriot Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 The funniest part is Bhogle mentions his acts as daft and then goes on to say he is most likely to understand others like him. Thats is some subtle below the belt journalism :D :D
EnterTheVoid Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I hope Afretard is made captain, than it will be a pack of CHEATS lead by a SERIAL CHEAT - There are suspicions over Aamers age, Charsif is a serial drug cheat, Bull has been suspected of ball tampering, a handful of others involved in match fixing in the ICL etc. Not to mention, most of the team were murder suspects in Bob Woolmer's death. When they play against Australia in England, in overcast condition that help swing bowling, at the first sign of the ball swinging, suspicions will be raised. It will be like the Oval '06 over and over again.
Gambit Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 As I wrote in an earlier post, I actually think Afridi will be a good captain by Pak standards. He's probably had a lobotomy recently coz he's been batting with a degree of caution and maturity. He's aggressive and always switched on. Since he bowls as well, he will always be involved when Pakistan are bowling. A captain like Afridi will use jaahil gaali galoch and rhetoric type approaches to inspire and ignite fire within the likes of Aamir and Umar Akmal. As Paki cricketers have always needed an aggressive captain (Wasim for instance) to psych them and infuse the patented 'jazba junoon' attitude, Afridi should do a better job than the other alternatives. Whether he commands a place as a player is another question. Not that it has ever mattered in Pak selections anyway.

There is so much ego and groupism among Pak senior players, that senior players would collectively fail to bring down a new captain if he doesn't respect their " seniority". Already, it is so damn evident that Moyo throughly enjoyed Afretards failure in the last ODI. Then there are duds like Malik, Younis etc. More politics with the khatmal brothers. What a fricking circus. Only allah can save these clowns.
vvvslaxman Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Hope this retard stays as captain. We can see more funny stuffs. One day he is going to run naked on the ground to help his bowlers :hysterical:
thevortex Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 And Harsha is right. What Pakistan need now is a polarizing factor - someone who can draw the team together. There is none better suited to that job than Afridi.
Vikas Bhatt Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Afridi ganged up with Wasim Akram to finish off many captains in the past like Rashid and S. Malik. He then ensured Y. Khan quit the team in disgust. Such a disruptive player should not be around any Pakistani team by a mile. His politics reminds me of the kind Azharuddin pulled on Sachin Tendulkar.
vvvslaxman Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Next time when the ball is tampered they all 9 players will cover Afretard http://theoffsidetrap.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/pak-team-celebrates.jpg This is one way they can tamper the ball. cover everyone . Look at Retard :hysterical:

That's exactly i want. A disrputive , mentally retarded player as their captain
Asim Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 I am never any type of Afridi's fan but still if I look at choice we can have to lead the team... somehow Afridi looks the right option and whatever type of player or person he is, watever his own performance is, thats not an issue, cz no one really expect anything big from him but on his day whatever he can do, it comes as a bonus... but I am sure he will lead the side very well...
Temujin Khaghan Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 afridi is the only option for captaincy. no one else is man enough.
TheWall Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 Harsha is right. Only a Cheat can lead a bunch of Cheaters
hari504504 Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 In seriousness Bhogle makes alot of sense, noone is left who can wear the captaincy hat without another merry go round starting with Malik. Something tells me Afretard will make a good captain. I don't know abou the ball chomping part though..lol...
Gunner_Mania Posted February 5, 2010 Posted February 5, 2010 They are not playing any cricket untill the T20 World Cup. Afridi is anyway the Chosen One for that. Younis & Yousuf don't play that form of cricket. Their next Test / ODI series is in England against England & Australia. if Afridi fails to deliver in the T20 World Cup, expect a new captain for that series. The best thing for them to have is a rolling captain series by sereis from No 1 to 11 so everybody gets a chance.
