Sachinism Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 May be 233 is too muxh for this pitch. Uthappa is gone already Don't judge a pitch by what RU does
Sachinism Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Any highlights anywhere? cricket-online.tv don't know if they'll be up yet though
Cricketics Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 With 233 on board, Mumbai favorites from here. Karnataka post aorund 300 something with about 70 run lead Mumbai would post around 370. It will be a fantastic day 4 last session and day 5 to watch but we won't watch because nirvana site is not showing.. damn it
The Dark Horse Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 They should have let off Rohit to play the final.. After all, you are not going to play in a ranji final every day!
Show_stopper Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 For a team thats supposed to be elite in the competiotion..Mmbai sure have some pathetic batsmen. Especially their middle-order.
msb1991 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 cricket-online.tv don't know if they'll be up yet though Thanks, mate.
Guest Hiten. Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 For a team thats supposed to be elite in the competiotion..Mmbai sure have some pathetic batsmen. Especially their middle-order. Yet, somehow we're in the finals eh ? :giggle:
vvvslaxman Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 They should have let off Rohit to play the final.. After all, you are not going to play in a ranji final every day! Yes. Given the fact they didn't play him in any of the match Rohit should have been released for Ranji final.
jusarrived Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ajyanka Rahane continues to prove me right , following foot steps of of his captain ..domestic bully at best !
vvvslaxman Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Ajyanka Rahane continues to prove me right ' date=' following foot steps of of his captain ..domestic bully at best ![/quote'] His captain is a legend in that. :hysterical: . But too early to brand Rahane as FTB. May be he chocked in the final :--D
Shane Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 For a team thats supposed to be elite in the competiotion..Mmbai sure have some pathetic batsmen. Especially their middle-order. This was the Top 6 we had for most of last season, Jaffer Samant Rahane Mazumdar R Sharma Nayar And had Tendulkar for the Semis / Finals. Kukreja has done OK at the top, But the departure of Mazumdar, as pointed out endlessly in Ranji Match Threads, has left a gaping hole in the middle order. The other day I was having a tele conversation with one of the fellow ICF'ers on how Jaffer and Rahane have underperformed this season, resulting in us scrapping our way in into the finals. But the stats have a different story to tell. Link
cowboysfan Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 i feel 233 is too many, should have bundled them us for less than 200.

Shane Posted January 11, 2010 Author Posted January 11, 2010 When did U change sides?:omg: Both are my Teams, will defend them both, when and where needed. :icflove:
Show_stopper Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Well I agree that Mumbai lose quite a few players due to international commitments..but the middle order today with the exception of Nayar looked very limited in their range of shots. Whereas the karnataka team has performed brilliantly..they have forced more results on their way to finals. Have the #1 and #2 wicket takers this season..#2 highest run getter this season. I just feel they are a better balanced team and deserve to win this edition of a Ranji Trophy.

msb1991 Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Thanks' date=' mate.[/quote'] Hmmm, no highlights have surfaced yet anywhere on the internet, it would seem. I do hope that an ICF member would be so kind as to record some highlights and put them up, as I'm quite intrigued to see how R Vinay and Mithun are bowling (visibly) and I'd like to see our old favourite Agarkar back in action once more. Agarkar was probably the quickest bowler that we have had in recent times and shockingly enough, he was probably the most hated too - ah, such is life. Anyway, it is good to see that the final is on course for a positive result. Looking at Mumbai's bowling line up, they should be able to keep Karnataka to under 350 (maximum), if they bowl well.
kabira Posted January 11, 2010 Posted January 11, 2010 Due to stupid triangular series, Neo is showing this on Neo Sports. Most ppl don't have that channel.
