2 billion ****ing dollars ? :WTF: That would be the most expensive house ever by a big margin. I think Mittal's $70 million house was one of the most expensive when he bought it. This one is 30 times that ....:yikes:

It has been many years since the project started. There would be two floors out of the 27 floors just for servants in his house. Know it since long as it has been repeated in news and media for years now. Anyways thanks for sharing suma . I did not know it is going to complete this year. It will be a massive and gorgeous house for sure after it is completed.

2 things here 1) Charities are not something to be bragged about, there is no requirement to show proof of payment. If one gives and helps, buck should stop there 2) Spending lavishly on rims or $3.3 Billion Apartment is personal choice, you can do this and give to charity as well ( if you want to ). The world doesn't stop running, if one cares so much then might as well just stop eating good and sleep on your bed coz no matter what u do, there will always be poverty but it's a good thing to donate as you feel appropriate.

Its the man's money, he can do whatever he wants to do with it. No one has even the semblance of right to even point the finger of blame at him. But, you really have to wonder what makes a man think to himself 'Yes, I think I need a 30 storey, 9000 crore home..' If someone asked me to live in such a place, I'd probably puke after a few hours at all the garishness and out of a sense of guilt. Its a bit like someone wearing a diamond studded underwear costing $1,00,000 just because he has the money. Sure, I maybe a multi-billionaire, but a 200 rupee VIP Frenchie would do the job just fine. Is Mukesh Ambani is trying to build his image as a business tycoon, in the hope that it might positively impact his business? Is he's trying to cement his legacy as one of the richest men of this planet by constructing such a home? If that is what his intentions are, then he's following a terrible strategy to achieve it. You dont find respect by splurging obscene amounts of money.. Sure you may evoke a lot of 'oooooooohs' and 'aaaaaaaaah', but certainly not respect.

^^ Whats use of being rich if you are not going to spend it? He does want he wants but at the same time should do what he can to help the society if he wanted to.

Lol, do you mean to say every rich person in this world goes around indulging in such obscene fantasies? No one is questioning his right to spend his own money. The only question is what motivates him to spend in the manner he has chosen to do so.

Im pretty sure every billionare has some sort mega mansion plus other unecessary gadgets like yachts, planes, cars and islands............. Motivation is probably comes from pressure....if you ask me i bet he wouldnt know much or anything about that house. All the interior and the rooms are probably chosen by his money guzzling wife and his children.....he just obliges to what they say
