Texy Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 a new star in making? 2 5fers in a row! wow! who's this guy?
thevortex Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 He is a bustling, hit the pitch bowler. It helped that the surfaces he played on were skiddy and pacy. I dont see him shining on other less responsive surfaces.
Bradman99 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Not sure about star in the making because he is already 28, but I think his time has come. Been very impressive in the 2 games he has played. Certainly needs to keep his place as long as he's performing like that!
achilles Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 He is playing Pakistan and is expected to get 5fers regularly. If he doesn't, there's somethin wrong with him :cantstop: Jokes apart, good guy. Got the much needed break in the IPL and has never looked back since then. Great for Australia to produce a slew of All-Rounders all of a sudden :two_thumbs_up:

Ram Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 He's certainly quite good, but not so good as to keep taking 5-fors every other match. Btw, let him come to the subcontinent and play some ODIs. We'll make him realize the true joys of fast bowling in ODIs..:D
Bradman99 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 can he bat?he batted below Hauritz yesterday which should means that he isnt an allrounder Yes he is a decent batsman. Haurits is no easy beat though, he averages almost 30 in one dayers.
CG Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 ryan harris was bowling at 125-138 in the bigbash which is done by fox sports and now is clocked at 150 by channel nine suspicious:winky: Queensland v Victoria [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rzZprwWB0cs]YouTube- Broadcast Yourself.[/ame]
rkt.india Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 i have seen this kind of a difference for many aussie bowlers like Tait, Siddle, Lee, bolinger, johnson. When they bowl in domestic and when they bowl in internationals their pace suddnely goes up 5 to 10 ks whether they are bowling in India, Asutralia, SA, England wherever they miraculously raise their pace. They are real pace powerhouse for me, every second Aussie bowler can bowl at 145 if needed. Shaun Tait touches 155 every time he bowls in 20-20 for Aus, but in domestic, he does not touch that speed. Same is with Harris i have seen him bowling at 135 in domestic ODD and when he debuted against SA last year he recorded fastest delivery at 148 Ks and i dnt think its bcoz speed guns from Sky. Because Bolinger i thought will bowl at 130 to 140 as i have seen him in domestics, but was bowling over 145 on the indian tour last year, thats amazing for me........
hari504504 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Introduce him to Sehwag first.. Don't judge any bolwer by how they perform against Pak .. example: Herath.

ensd2 Posted January 30, 2010 Posted January 30, 2010 Yes he is an bowling allrounder. good luck to him : aussie has huge depth

vvvslaxman Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Aussies will endlessly produce fast bowlers.
ViruRulez Posted January 31, 2010 Posted January 31, 2010 Ryan Harris is not that good .. the Pakis are crap and so he is looking good .. even Kuruvilla will look like McGrath with the Pakis facing them
Texy Posted January 31, 2010 Author Posted January 31, 2010 This guy is getting better and better with every game...or is it that pak is getting worse and worse?
