Wanted: Pakistan skipper after Yusuf's failure and Afridi's ban

It will be one of the Akmal brothers I reckon
They are big time politicians. I do not think they will get it. Safe choice is Malik. They don't realize more than captaincy their low quality players that are hurting them. Look at the average of their batsmen. 30,35 like that. How any captain win with this crappy team.

Well that's a different story all together. Pakistani team has the potential but they just need to get their sh1t to gather. I doubt that Malik will be given another go at the captaincy but again it's PCB and anything is possible. :hysterical:

Cricket would be a very poor game without Pakistan Here we have Yousuf taunting Afretard with the following comment to the ABC reporter " Afridi was captain today and they still lost" :hysterical:. More backstabbing and politics.:haha: Click on the Audio link below for Mohammed Yousuf. http://www.abc.net.au/news/stories/2010/02/01/2806828.htm?site=sport&section=all I mean seriously...without these clowns cricket would not be funny anymore. :hysterical::hysterical::hysterical:

Jamaat! http://www.dawn.com/wps/wcm/connect/dawn-content-library/dawn/the-newspaper/columnists/19-nadeem-f-paracha-preaching-games-710-hh-07 "These players included Shoaib Malik, Salman Butt, Kamran Akmal, Yasser Hamid, Rana Naveedul Hassan (who at one point is said to have grown a beard to ‘impress’ Inzimam), and most of all, Yousuf Yohanna, who converted to Islam and became Muhammad Yousuf. Today he is one of the leading members of the Jamaat and was recently reported to have even tried to convert New Zealand cricket captain Danial Vetori. Though the bulk of the team joined the Jamaat, thus transforming the team culture from extrovert and flamboyant to fatalistic and (subsequently) somewhat uncompetitive, a divide soon developed when a handful of players refused to follow Inzimam’s Raiwind regime. These were Shoaib Akhtar, Muhammad Asif, Abdul Razzaq and Yunus Khan." !!!WTF!!!
This is unbelievable. :omg:

I wonder why pakistanis dont like Malik.. I thought he is a decent guy.. not into any antics or cheatings.. but then again most of the pakistanis want to win at any cost.. so no wonder they r behind afrettard..
Their whole culture is "short cut" culture. "hook or crook" culture. There is nothing systematic, methodical about their actions. They won't analyze the root cause of the problems. Change the captain all will be fine. Change the chairman all will be fine. Last match was closer than previous matches. Actually that pitch was very sluggish. Timing was a bit hard. By fluke Afretard was captaining. He could not even win that one. But our afretard fans genuinely believe he brought about the change.Above all Asif picked up a wicket first ball after first bite :hysterical:. They will soon realize what a dumbo they have chosen as captain. If PCB have any spine they would not let him captain ever again. They don't think logically. They just follow blindly. Nothing illustrates this better than their reactions after IPL teams rejected Pakistan players. They rejected so many people even England players some Aussie players, SA players. But Pakistan was the only one who acted like bunch of dimwits.

Malik to lead Pakistan in T20 against Australia Beneficiary of the ball-biting episode that earned Shahid Afridi a two-match ban, former captain Shoaib Malik will lead Pakistan in Friday's one-off Twenty20 International against Australia in Melbourne. More... Malik to lead Pakistan in T20 against Australia February 01, 2010 19:39 IST Beneficiary of the ball-biting episode that earned Shahid Afridi [ Images ] a two-match ban, former captain Shoaib Malik [ Images ] will lead Pakistan in Friday's one-off Twenty20 [ Images ] International against Australia [ Images ] in Melbourne [ Images ]. "Malik will lead the Pakistan team in the only Twenty20 match against Australia in absence of Afridi," Pakistan Cricket Board said in a statement today. Regular Twenty20 captain Afridi has been banned for two Twenty20 Internationals after he was caught on camera biting at the ball during the fifth and final One-dayer against the Aussies in Perth. Analysts here believe the decision to revert back to Malik is a clear indication that the board might be thinking on lines of bringing him back as captain of the Test and one-day sides as well. "Younis Khan [ Images ] has ruled out captaining the team again, Mohammad Yousuf [ Images ] was a total disappointment in Australia and Shahid Afridi has done no good to his chances of becoming the permanent captain of the Test or ODI squads after the ball-tampering incident," one source in the board said. Malik was removed as captain in early 2008 on the recommendations of coach Intikhab Alam and former manager Yawar Saeed after Pakistan lost a home One-day series to Sri Lanka [ Images ]. Malik was then accused of not communicating well with other players and being both a loner and dictator.
