I disagree, I think some of the great matches of all time have been scoring ones. There's much better than one team scoring 350 and the other team chasing getting bundled out for 200 in response.

YOu know the poster who said I liked today's game because it was between minnows, needs to grow up. Anyone who's read any of my posts will know how adamant I am about these kinds of wickets being used. I don't care for rubbish flat tracks where batsmen can plunder runs without even working for it, however wickets where a batsman has to earn his runs and the bowlers can actually bowl instead of feed boundary ball are my cup of tea. More wickets like this please, will make up for the very boring one sided high scoring matches we see day in day out.

Glad I missed the match..on a side note, you shouldn't need Gayle, Sarwan and Bravo to beat a team that has hardly played outside their country in the past two years or so :(. Anyway, good to see Houghton, Campbell and Streak pulling their weight behind the current Zim team. I heard that they restructured their domestic format into a five franchise system which has started to yield results already. Hope they "go from strength to strength."

Dont wanna read too much into T20 results. In this format, 3 overs can decide the fate of a game. But from a related perspective, I am still waiting for that one fantastic performance from the highest bid cricketer of all time, Kieron Pollard. If it is indeed true that the MI paid $2.5 M for him, by now, even they'd be left scratching their stubble a little bit, wondering if he was really worth all that money. And its not even tests or ODI cricket. This match was HIS format and this was a game perfectly set-up for him to stamp his authority all over and yet, he failed, AGAIN. Either the MI boffins know something about him that we dont, or he's the luckiest SOB in the known world
