but everytime i read nballa posts' date=' he seems to be a pakistani supporter, or maybe he has same genes as us pakistanis[/quote'] i am a fan of cricket first and then indian cricket. which means i appreciate good cricket regardless of country. unlike pretenders like "riya", "flamy" and "mr wicket".

Legend? Who called him legend? Yea, some loony Pakistanis. You can get some of these crazy, red-meat eating, beastly characters to say anything. That doesnt make it true. Shahid Afridi is a mediocre test player, a reasonable ODI player and a VERY good T20 player and thats exactly how he should be remembered. Adjectives like 'Legend' are too heavy for him to even contemplate wearing.

People are in habit of looking at things with different Angels. For some, being a legend may mean only Statistics of bowling and batting. But for some it may be other things like Increase of Heart beat when Afridi came to batting, the all crowd going louder, the blood pressures going high, his attitude that he has no mind but he is out and out BOOM BOOM. Actually, I don't consider him as legend when I see him batting sensibly. No, for me he is a legend when is he is doing Boom Boom hard hitting. Therefore, we should agree that People may have different choices, different angles to watch the same thing. You people may not be impressed with Afridi, but remaining world know him as Boom Boom. There is something special with him and therefore he is the only one who has been called Boom Boom up till now. Why?

Just becuase the crowd go crazy for him, it doesn't make him a legend, because keep in mind its only Pakistani fans. Like many people have pointed out there is nobody better so someone mediocre is hyped up to legend status. Tell me one thing, if Yusuf Pathan is around for another 10 years, he probably will have achieved nothing, but a few crazy fans shout for him will you say he is a legend because he can go out and start swinging the bat?b

^ Well it's been established that even if he is a legend it's not for cricketing reasons' date=' so this looks to be the right forum for now. Next stop- Jokes.[/quote'] Absolutely!
